2015: A Year Fighting for Freedom, Texas and America

Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) campaign for the White House has just released an impressive new video recapping the presidential candidate’s tumultuous and harrowing 2015. Cruz has been at the forefront of every conservative effort to push good legislation, stop bad legislation, and slow the growth of the federal government. At almost every turn, Cruz and his allies have been accosted, not just by liberal Democrats, but also by establishment Republicans who are interested only in power and money.

While Republican opponents of the Cruz campaign have attempted to paint him as “selfish” and intractable, the simple truth is that Cruz would not “play” the Washington, D.C. game. Instead of “going along to get along,” Cruz chose to stand and fight for the things that he believes in and the things that he told voters he would fight for. For his efforts, Cruz has been slandered, accosted, belittled and bemoaned… but still, with a smile on his face, he fights for us. He fights for conservative values. He fights for America.

Thank you, Senator Cruz.

There is a reason so many politicians talk about standing up to Washington and yet so few actually do it. Because it is far easier to take the path of least resistance.

The way you break the #WashingtonCartel is by making the political price of doing the wrong thing higher than the political price of doing the right thing—and that can only come from #WeThePeople.
