America’s Anti-Christian Foreign Policy

For over 200 years America was a Christian nation.  Our Christian foundations have been slowly eroding over the past 50 years.  However, that erosion has drastically increased during the three years of Obama’s reign and his administration has repeatedly stripped away the rights of Christians while at the same time promoting the rights of Muslims.

The administration’s foreign policy has also taken on the same attitude towards Christians and Muslims worldwide.  Earlier this year I wrote US Tax Dollars Building Mosques Overseas and some of our other bloggers have posted US Courting Diplomatic Relations with Islamist Group that Murders Christians and Sharia Law Deciding American Court Cases.  These blogs give a glimpse of just how the Obama administration deals with matters of religion with other countries.

The US now seems anxious to rush in to help Muslims around the world.  We rebuild their sewer systems, schools, water supply systems, electrical power plants and even rebuild their damaged mosques.  Hillary Clinton and State Department is spending hundreds of millions of dollars on the very Muslims that hate the US and vow to destroy us.

But what about Christians that need our help?

In Nigeria, Christmas Day saw militant Islamists bombed Christian churches, killing at least 25 people and wounding many more.  The only response from the White House (or should I call it the Muslim House) was to issue a public condemnation of the attacks and nothing more.

In Egypt, the political turmoil is once again boiling over in less than a year.  This time, those in power include the Muslim Brotherhood, who Obama supported in the over throw of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.  The Muslim Brotherhood, with knowledge for the current Egyptian regime have been attacking, beating, and killing Christians and burning their churches.  The White House again issues a verbal condemnation, but does nothing more to help fellow believers in Jesus Christ who are being targeted for their faith.

In China, Christians are still being jailed and beaten for their faith.  The White House won’t even condemn China for its anti-Christian actions and policies because they basically own a significant part of the US debt and could destroy us in a matter of minutes by calling in those debts.

In Saudi Arabia, who is supposed to be a US ally, Muslims persecute Christians with public floggings and imprisonment.  The country has blocked all Christian related websites.  The White House response has been one of silence.

Christians around the world are being targeted and persecuted for the faith in our Lord and Savior and the only action taken by the Obama administration is to issue an occasional verbal condemnation to some, but not all.  It’s like a parent that tells their unruly child ‘no, don’t do that’, but never does anything to back up the command.  And like the unruly child that knows nothing will come of it, they continue to do what they were told not to.

I wonder what the White House would do if it were Muslims being persecuted in a Christian nation?  Oh yeah, that’s happened here in America and the Christians were punished and sent to prison.  I know there have been cases where Muslims have attacked Christians here in America, but you rarely, if ever, hear about them or hear that the Muslim was sent to prison for their actions.  The only thing we do hear about it is when the Department of Justice sets the Muslim free.

Guess that pretty much describes where our nation is at.

When Jesus returns very soon there will be a lot of red faces on that day !

    • daves

Anyone: Please give me just one example where the President.

"has repeatedly stripped away the rights of Christians while at the same time promoting the rights of Muslims."

      It is a lie.

      • Ishmael137

Obama's constant kowtowing to CAIR fills the bill nicely, Mr daves; CAIR constantly cites the many instances in which Obama has gone to bat for Moslem "rights," and siding with Moslems requires standing in opposition to Christians.

Also, under Obama's direction, Holder has established a Moslem task force within the DOJ, which has the express mission of advancing Moslem rights and concerns in the States, whether suing for the right to wear a Moslem hat or getting a free trip to Mecca. On the other hand, the DOJ constantly sets itself against Christians, limiting freedom of expression and the right to participate in society.

        • daves

          I was hoping for examples.

Making sure that Muslims are granted the same rights as other Americans does not take anything away from Christians.

        • Ishmael137

No one is so blind than he who refuses to see.

One day, even unwitting crypto-jihadists will realize the cancer they have empowered in America.

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

NO, it true. Obummer ablated the National Day of Prayer (a Christian event held annually since 1789) in deference to Ramadan (an islamic holy celebration) by serving up a dinner IN THE WHITEHOUSE!!

        Lie my ars...

        • daves

The bogus claim that Obama canceled the 2010 event is a warmed-over version of similar false claims that circulated last year. They began when Obama decided in 2009 not to hold a White House observance in the East Room, as President Bush had done during his administration. Instead Obama issued a presidential proclamation close to the day of the event. It said in part:

Obama, May 7, 2009: I call upon Americans to pray in thanksgiving for our freedoms and blessings and to ask for God’s continued guidance, grace, and protection for this land that we love.

Far from being canceled, the 2009 event went on as scheduled. Organizers later said the 58th annual event produced "a greater outpouring of prayer for our nation … than ever before."

        • daves

The Facebook rumor also claims — incorrectly — that Obama "allowed" a Muslim prayer event to take place on the Capitol grounds. But the president didn’t do any such thing. The Capitol grounds are not under his control, but rather under the jurisdiction of Congress, a separate branch of government. The Muslim prayer event, attended by about 8,000 persons, took place under a permit issued by the U.S. Capitol Police. Obama did not attend. (And it took place in September, not in January, as the Facebook posting claims.)

    • Charlie Coombs

Bunch of red asses, too, I'll wager.

    • John Williams

Yes , Peggie ! To say that there will be many with " red faces " when Jesus returns , may be the understatement of history !
When the fires of Hell surround them , they will be more than red-faced ! The worst among us are those that claim to be helping the poor and afflicted , when in fact thy are lining their own pockets and feathering their own nests ! Jesus referred to those kinds of people as " a generation of vipers "! They were the ones who pretended to be righteous , but in fact were so evil that they orchestrated the crucifixion of the One who came to save them from themselves ! This shows the depth of man's depravity , and this Administration is chock-full of these types . He will say to them : " depart from Me, I know you not "

Christians we gotta stand up troops

I have been ready since the election of "Muslim in the White House and community organizator". This goes for David Rockefeller and the Council of Foreign Relations & Trilateral Commission, Democrats, Republicans, Pelosi, Reed, Clintons, Bushes, George Soros and Muslims . Their all traitors toward this country and will be put in jail for trying to plotting to overthrow the United States of America. Impreach them all!

I fully agree This muslem preident is doing everything in his power to rid the world of Christans. He touts and chants his glorious koran in speaches kisses the saidi kings robe says that that muslem at ft hood has a breakdown and listed it as workplace voilence. Our Congress lets him get away with it . I think it time to impeach him and get rid of his anti- Christian cabinet and all his muslem brotherhood friends he has appointed in his administration. If you believe this please send letters and call your congress men and women and senators to state that we are fed up with his muslem world.

The Treaty of Tripoli (Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the United States of America and the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli of Barbary) was the first treaty concluded between the United States of America and Tripoli, signed at Tripoli on November 4, 1796 and at Algiers (for a third-party witness) on January 3, 1797. It was submitted to the Senate by President John Adams, receiving ratification unanimously from the U.S. Senate on June 7, 1797 and signed by Adams, taking effect as the law of the land on June 10, 1797.

The Treaty is much discussed in the 21st century because of the text of article 11, as ratified by the Senate:

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.[3]

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

Dave, this old tripe 'account' of the treaty is getting really old. Go read Jefferson's letters to congress about why he touted the 'not a Christian' nation line with the muslims of that day. It was an 'accommodation' which to this day we still tuck tail and utilize.

IF you can't read, and you can't see the implications of the Christian faith being applied to the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, you are deaf and/or blind. That is a YOU problem; not an US problem.

        • daves

Seriously you think the Bill of Rights is based on Christian faith? Could you please provide some reasons why you think this?

    • Otis Dotson

Retired USAF. Very good, Friend. Is it too late now to squash muslem activity? Could this be the 3rd Antichrist? Shoe fits////

  • Lynn

I wouldn't want to be Obama or any of the others who are persecuting Christians and pushing God completely out of the United States on the day of Judgment.

  • jb80538

America will return to being a Christian country when the muslim in the WH has moved out.

    • Noah

You may be right, jb80538 but you could be totally wrong. The churches today have vastly become totally liberal and as you must have noted, the Muslims, not the Christians, are the ones that are rapidly growing today.

      • jb80538

        Here's to praying I'm right.

        • daves

As for Gingrich's opinion, the former speaker insisted that Obama was "absolutely" born in the United States and is a Christian, but Gingrich also insisted the president needs to consider what he's doing that may lead people to suspect him Muslim.

        • JIM

      • chris

        i'll pray to that.

  • Jonathan Gartner

With a muslim for President what do you expect (his Indonesian passport has him as a muslim) he has insulted both Israel and Britian and cooperated with Iran (did not activate self destruct on the drone as he should have). His legacy will be one of failure and disgrace of this nation which we must correct in the next elections.

    • traitors in our gov

You really think there will be an election next year?? Think again.. The ILLEGAL-ALIEN MUSLIM OCCUPYING OUR WHITEHOUSE will create Martial law during the summer and then will proclaim himself KING OF NORTH AMERICA....

Then, will the revolution against him start??? when will it start??? when the UN comes and takes our guns??

We have a CONSTITUTION that he is spitting on and using for toilet paper.. Laws, this man knows NO LAWS...

      • Ishmael137

But it's naive to believe he'll do anything so ham-handed as make a pronouncement so antithetical to the body politic. If a change is made, it will come clothed in lamb's wool...people might grumble, but most will accept it or at least let it go. A majority of people these days are motivated by equal shares or apathy and self-interest.

        • Jonathan Gartner

Just remember that only between 10-13% of the population was active on the Revolutions side fighting for our liberty.

  • Walt

Apparently the willing victims in America want Muslims, hatred, violence, discrimination and sharia law or they wouldt keep praising this Muslim in the White House. Keep it up and you will get what you want but I dont think you will like it when you get it. It will be one of those You-asked-for it; You-got-it; Bend-over kind of deals. Will be too late then.

    • daves

I will fight to the end to support the Constitution of the United States and the freedom it gives all of us to worship as we please. Religious bigotry against any religion is truly anti-American.

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

Then you will see that islam in its fundamental ideology is a 3 part system:
        1) it's a religion
        2) it's a political system (sharia)
        3) it's a military system (jihadism)

The first is compatible with our US Constitution; the other two are never going to be compatible because they deny that 'all are created equal'. In sharia, there are those who are dimmhi and there are those who are subordinate always (women, homosexuals to name a few).

So in short, islam is not compatible with our US Constitution. Never has been, never will be.

        • daves

When our country was founded, women were not considered equals and could not even vote.

  • Peter

Biblical values are the opposite of what those currently represented by our government want. You can not have two masters. The government will be master, or the people will. At the same time, we can never be strong and free when we are entangled by sin. Start with your own house and get it in order. I am. Don't be a government dependant.

    • daves

So what do you suggest? A world free of Government?

      • Peter

Nope, just a government that serves the people and protects them instead of a government that tries to make you a slave.

  • Stan Lee

We have witnessed a 180 degree turn from our historical and respectful recognition of our Christian orientation. I realize that my remark may ruffle a few feathers out there, but regardless of argument to the contrary, this nation was founded in Christian ethic.....or to put it even more specifically, Judeo-Christian ethic.
Our nation has done well because of this, and not until Obama and HIS Democrats gained power was this nation's ethic diluted by acceding to Obama's Islamic orientation.
We need to return to our spiritual roots.

    • daves

      What is your evidence?

      • ChillaKilla

@daves -- are you asking evidence for the fact that this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, OR for the obvious fact that since the kenyan entered the WH the orientation of his admin has been most definitely towards islamic favoritism?
The question back at you is, what is your evidence that neither of the above are the case?

        • daves

I am asking for evidence that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. See my previous post on the treaty of Tripoli for evidence against this.

        • Tea Party Marine

There is a great deal of evidence that our fore fathers used Christian beliefs in creating all of our founding documents. Most of the signers of the Constitution were ministers. The treaty of Tripoli can hardly be used as a viable source because of underlying motives. Our ships were being attacked by Muslim Pirates and to assist in a measure to achieve a treaty, any terminology referring to Christianity had to be disallowed. This was a treaty with terrorists of the 18th century.

        • daves

So it's okay for Christians to lie if it serves their own interest?

"The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason." — Ben Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack, 1758.

From the man who wrote the Declaration of Independence:

"Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined, imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion?
To make half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites."
          Thomas Jefferson
          (ref. Bartlett's 16th Ed., p.343)

      • CitizenArrestNow

    • 1599

Unfortunately, it is the judeo forces who are the number one enemies of Christianity.

      • Tea Party Marine

It's not the Jews who are burning Christian churches in Egypt or murdering Priests in Africa. Is is fundamental Islamic hardliners who insist on killing all Jews and Christians.

  • Georgia Eagle

The big problem I have with this article is that most of the problems this article points out didn't just begin with the current POTUS but were "mainlined" during GW Bush's administration with our "War on Terror". The War in Iraq gave us the resulting government based on Sharia law and the subsequent depopulating of the Christians in that nation.

    • Stan Lee

      Georgia Eagle:
I respectfully disagee with your assessment. Sharia law existed long before American troops arrived in Iraq. Christians were a minority in Iraq as far back in history that one would care to go.
An Islamic-dominated society is not really a place for Christians to flourish. Whether the Muslim is a Sunni or a Shia, any Christian would still be acknowledged by him as a "non-believer," an "infidel." As such, the Christian is regarded as unclean and inferior. The Koran specifies this.
Only when Saddam, who was a Baathist and his ruling class were Baathists, were Christians slightly safer from the dominating Muslims. This is because no matter how Saddam publicly invoked the name of Allah, Baathism is the Arab form of Communism, Leninism, Marxism, call it what you will. It is totalitarian and it allowed Sharia to be practiced to a point. Actually to far less a point than those Muslims living here among us who are trying to inject full Sharia law into our legal system. Obviously, it is their hope that by making such demands, the "soft" Christians will accommodate to a few of the Muslim demands.

    • Tea Party Marine

Saddam Hussein actually served a very important purpose and that was to keep the radical Islamic fundamentalists in check. I don't condone what the many dictators did but they did hold down the spread of radical Islam. Sharia law and it's growth is directly related to it's percentage of the population. The larger the Muslim religion is, the more freedom is lost.

  • ConservaDave

This is an issue of the human heart. There is always a "ruling love" within the heart and at its essence it is either in tune with and oriented to heaven or hell, good or evil, and this (often subconscious) love guides our thought and decision making. Jesus said, "...Behold, the Kingdom of God is within you." That is why there are "Christians" who obviously aren't (see Matthew 7) and those of other religions who live by "the way, the truth and the life" but don't necessarily name the name of Jesus. However, the ultimate truth is in in Jesus, Christianity contains the 100% truth, other religions don't. That is why when a man's heart is oriented toward hell he will turn on Christianity and not be bothered by the other religions. Just look at the ACLunatics. Obama is obviously also this kind of man.

  • KatieT

Stand strong and keep your faith in God. Jesus warned us of this.... They will hate you because of me, you will be persecuted in my name. He also said if you die because of me you will live.......God is the only one who can save us.......

    • 32eagle

especially important to remember when the antichrist gives us the ultimatum to either worship him and live or die-of course mine will be to praise JESUS and die

  • Sergio Sr.

You'll never read about anti-Christian events or see them in any of the "drive-by" media. It's time for the Sleeping Giant to get up and stomp these sinners and anti-Christian idiots. When is enough going to be enough. America is a Christian Nation and will continue to exist as long as we keep GOD in our lives. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

MATTHEW 5-7 (Jesus' "Sermon On The Mount")

5:39 But I say unto you, That you resist not evil: but whosoever shall
smite you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

5:40 And if any man will sue you at the law, and take away your coat,
let him have your cloak also.

5:41 And whosoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him two.

5:42 Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you
      turn you not away.

5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you,
do good to them that hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use
      you, and persecute you;

President Obummer's weak-kneed and putrid response to this religious holocaust was not only sickening, but encourages other Islamic Fundamentalist attacks. The Unholy Alliance of Socialism and Islamic Fundamentalism against the United States and the Free World is encouraged by Obama and the Communists he has installed in our national power structure. #1--To those who like to slam Catholicism by pointing to one of its supposed faults: the Crusades. Here's a few facts you might add to your meager knowledge of history.
    a) islam is a religion based on male and 'strong man' domination and submission of others.
    b) From its beginnings the followers of islam have persecuted Christians. Their fanatical and retrograde doctrine orders them to do so.
    c) Once islam conquered the Middle East and along with that ALL the places sacred to Christians they started their harassment, persecution and killing of the Christians who ventured into the Holy Land.
    d) All the kingdoms of the 'civilized world' at that time were ruled by Christian kings.
    e) The overwhelming moral power at the same time was the Catholic Church (protestantism was not invented until 3 or 4 centuries later),

    • ChillaKilla

#2 -- f) In order to regain the Holy Sites and end the persecution of Christians, the Pope called for a response to the muslims. The response was called 'Crusade.'
      g) There were several Crusades, successful in the beginning, yet at one point through discord and dissent among the participants the final result was that the Middle East was lost.
      h) What we are now witnessing is the continuing harassment and persecution that never stopped and is even now more prevalent and bloody given the weakness, discord and dissent of the West, aided by the feckless and incompetent obama administration, whose policies of appeasement have been interpreted by those backward macho cultures as weakness which they have exploited. So the failed Crusades on our part continue, as the prospects of inferior, warring and pre-agriculture cultures grow stronger for lack of a concerted response from the civilized West.

        Killings for Christianity
The Church started killing unbelievers as early as the 4th century. The killing (often with torture) of heretics, church splinter groups, dissenters, atheists, agnostics, deists, pagans, infidels and unbelievers was supported by almost all mainstream Christian theology for over a thousand years, starting with the intolerant St. Augustine (died 430 AD).

        History of persecutions by Christians

The martyrdom of Christians at the hands of the Romans (also here and here). This was one type of oppressor killing another type of oppressor - as was shown when the Christians finally got into power.
Persecution of Pagans by the Christian Roman Empire

Christian thinkers such as St. Thomas Aquinas continued to justify the killing of heretics and unbelievers throughout the medieval period.
St. Thomas Aquinas justifies killing people who are not convinced by his arguments.

What a waste of print and logic about this subject, for how does a nation attempt to protect Christians around the world, when it's Commander-in-Chief is a true Muslim, like it or not, that is a fact, no matter how many lies are told on the subject.

We will get the muslim in chief out of office and kick out the muslims and be a christian country once more.

We are returning to our roots and our Judeo-Christian values. It is slow work, but it will be done. First we vote out our President, Congress, and Justices and put in people who believe as the majority of Americans do. What we have now is our own fault, we trusted them to care for us while we went about our business. What a lie! We are angry, but more than that, we know what to do, and we know we will get America back to majority rule and the constitution and our Bibles.

    • Jo Anna Halda

We can do this if we all (86% Christians) stand up and stop turning the other cheek. That has not worker but the
Bible also tell up to stand up for what we believe in and fight for what is right. Well it is time to stand up. Are we
really going to allow this Muslim Sharia Law to became the law of our Land.....just see what is happening in
Dearborn Michigan and it will get you thinking as to what we must do.
Yes, our moral values are in serious decline and that is what Sharia Law is somewhat about. If you sin against
the Koran you are stoned or beheaded....we are allowing our children to be brainwashed to believing they can
just do what ever they want to do and it is perfectly alright. We all must answer in to the end to right and wrong.
Oh, I could go on and on but it all boils down to "What are we going to do and when are we going to start doing
it". It will all start when we get this president out of office............Those 86% all need to start praying like you have
never prayed before. God Bless America, Jo Anna

I have the solution... Why don't we Americans go inside our home and look around the door while waiting for Jesus to come save us. We could also complain mightily about all those bad men and women running our country but hesitate to yell AT them or even write and save a "letter' that we repeatedly send to the Legislators telling them to wake up and smell the camels in the White House. Jesus Christ WILL come but not to beat up the bullies for us. When he comes, all this mess will be over for the true believers. However, shouldn't We The People (many being Christians) get active in our political party and/or the Tea Party move to help stop the deterioration of the United States from within???? Write up fliers of upcoming educational events and pass 'em out. Don't just stand there, do something.

I wonder what our government did for the 22,000 Christians who were burned out in India in 2008 by Radical-Hindus? I wonder what the Christian did? Christians seem to have a fixation on Muslim infractions. Meantime the Hindus and Hindu Cults, including in the U.S., all over the Western World, and in India, have resurrected all of the old Vedic Mantra Weapons - some of the most deadly weapons ever known to man. Yes, they are used only on the subtle level, and they have deadly effectiveness. Christians need to start refocusing and looking at the broader picture or they are going to be totally blindsided. Muslims are difficult, and we do not want to be governed by their religion, but we also do not want to be overwhelmed by Radicalized Hindu New Age Cults and Hindus. Many churches, especially in large cities, are starting to pick up the New Age mantle - giving more and more power to the Vedic Weapon Mantra wielding Nephilim (fallen angel) thugs who are killing American citizens even as I write.

It is most probable that it was Obama that gave the Iranians the navigational procedures to bring down the lost drone.

Sadly it is becoming our domestic policy also. A Muslim once said that all we are doing to 'win thier friendship is seen by them as weakness' just like a school bully whom you give your lunch money to.

From the back cover of the 1599 Geneva Bible. "Every officer and man should live, and act, as becomes a CHRISTIAN SOLDIER defending the dearest rights and liberties of his country". Words given us by President George Washington. Words that do have meaning spoken by a man who knew them. Not of the meaningless drivel technology gives our contemporary fool to spout.

America is a Judeo-Christian Nation. Any anti Christian activity is Obama's doing.

According to many of these comments, if the POTUS resigned today and Billy Graham was appointed instead we would become a "Christian Nation". This is ridiculous! A "Christian Nation" is a nation made up primarily of Christians, which we are most definately not! Many profess Christianity but cling to some moralistic code that is loosely based on the Bible. True Christianity is the salvation of men through the atonement offered by Christ on the Cross. When salvation occurs, a person is drastically changed and desires to follow God out of loyalty, love and thankfulness. This legalistic "obey the Bible and pull yourself together" message held by so many today is the message of American religion for the last 80 years, not the message of the Bible or Christian preachers for the last 2000 years.

Hillary and Obama are very much pro-Islamic and anti-Christianity.

Remember Carter, he was and is against Israel.
