Obama is Loaded with Union Super PACs

It wasn’t too long ago that President Obama denounced the Supreme Court ruling which granted freedom for organizations to campaign for or against political candidates. That was then:

Two years ago, while delivering his State of the Union address, President Obama looked the Supreme Court justices in the face and told them they were wrong to have allowed special interests to spend without limits on campaigns. “I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests,” he said. “They should be decided by the American people.”

This is now:

On Monday, the president abandoned that fundamental principle and gave in to the culture of the Citizens United decision that he once denounced as a “threat to our democracy.”

His aides announced that the Obama campaign would begin to assist the “super PAC” that can raise and spend unlimited sums to support the president’s re-election effort. Even White House and cabinet officials are expected to appear at fund-raising events for Priorities USA Action.

This is a joke. Obama has always believed in Super PACs. They’re called UNIONS! The 1.4 million-member International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), the 2-million member Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and the 3.2 million-member National Education Association (NEA) are mega-contributors to Obama and other Democrats. If it weren’t for unions, no Democrat would ever become President of the United States.

“The NEA asserts itself as ‘non-partisan,’ but critics point out that the NEA has endorsed and provided support for every Democratic Party presidential nominee from Jimmy Carter to Barack Obama and has never endorsed any Republican or third party candidate for the presidency.”

The unions need the Democrats, and the Democrats need the unions. Case in point Senator Bob Casey, (D-Pa.) “is introducing legislation for a bailout of troubled union pension funds. If passed, the bill could put another $165 billion in liabilities on the shoulders of American taxpayers.

The Democrat Super PAC will only increase the already large political war chest of the Democrats.

It’s no accident that the current Teamsters headquarters (the “Marble Palace”) is in Washington, D.C. across from the United States Senate.

well they are certainly ungodly. i'm canadian and I still feel we are all in danger, both countries.I have a feeling they could join the countries and anyone that dissents against Obama will be shipped off to these FEMA camps..........it's in the homeland security bill!
Benjamin Frankiln said that anyone that gives up freedom for a little bit of security gives up both and deserves neither

We need a national Right-to-Work law to limit the unions reach into the pockets of many members who don't agree with the union's radical (Communist) agenda.

I disagree. Right-To-Work only means right to fire and outsource jobs. The problem is with the PACS that allow contributors to donate as much as they want to political candidates. Obama just happens to get his from the unions. What about those right to work groups funneling even larger contributions to the Republican candidates?

What about all the money from the 2009 Stimulus that went to union pension funds??? Half of the $860B Stimulus went to union pension funds ... that is, approx.ly $430B .... AND NOW THEY WANT MORE?!?!?!?!?
This is maddening!!! Only 11% of the workforce is public-sector union, so why do the other 89% have to pay for extravagant union pay, benefits, & pensions?!? And non-union Democrats have no idea that they are paying higher taxes to support union benefits & pensions. What a freakin' scam!!! Is there any more succinct evidence that Dem. voters are mentally challenged??
