Obama Laugh-A-Rama

A Tale Of Two Doctors

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.
The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray,
which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months from then pending the review boards decision on
his age and remaining value to society.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet. The SECOND is a Senior Citizen on Obama care...

In November, if obama and his czars get another term we'll all have to find a good vet.

In spite of this fact, people are still reveling in Chief Justice Roberts ''genius'' at letting Obamacare stand.

Because of what he did, Obamacare will charge on for another year or two (before it is repealed, if possible)being permitted to put it's hooks into every facet of our lives and becoming so entangled in our government and society that it will be very difficult to fully remove at that point.

The willing accomplice of Obama, Roberts delivered the death nell to us all.

This was at the bottom of an email that went through some of the more serious pages of Obamacare that no one has taken the time to read ...I know for a fact that my dad was advised by his doctors to get knee surgery now before he wouldn't be able to get it for being in his late 70's..this is not funny and do people think they just won't get Old??

    Rec'd
this from a good friend of ours in Corpus who was diagnosed with cancer last
year. See what his doctor is saying....

    I can vouch for
this to a degree. Wednesday, I was at the doctor whom I have been going to since
we moved down here (he is the one who discovered my cancer). I have to get a
very expensive shot every 3 months ($3000) that is designed to keep the PSI down
and help to prevent a recurrence of the cancer. Has some uncomfortable side effects, and I was
questioning the need to continue with it, which he assured me was necessary. He
then asked how old I was, and when I replied 70, he said that if this
legislation goes through as intended by the powers that be, that I probably
would not be able to get it next year, as that would be money better spent on someone else with greater
longevity. I would be referred to someone to "counsel"
    me.

    I asked
him why the AMA had recently endorsed the plan. He replied that only about 15%
of the nation's doctors were members of AMA, and most of them were not really on
the front lines of doctorhood but in some other areas of medicine. He said he
was a member, but would not be after this membership year.

    This man got part
of his training in London , and
    practiced in Canada for 16
years before coming to the US , and he has no use for socialized medicine,
regardless of how you wrap it, or what kind of bow to put on it. He said that we
have a shortfall of around 400,000 doctors at the present time, and many of
today's doctors are of the baby boomer generation who are nearing retirement
and/or will decide to hang it up rather than deal with the results this is sure
    to bring.

The 3rd patient has his hip replaced, but his insurance refuses to cover it due to a pre-existing condition and the patient is forced into bankruptcy.

Moron,He would have had the In's co. approval prior to the surgery,or OPTION 2 he could have negotiated a CASH payment, saves collection and PAPERWORK(you lib's should welcome that(less tress's being cut)(Gold,Silver, exchange of service)whatever the payment needed for the services rendered!

      • Sagan

Some of us do not have a chest full of doubloons at home to pay for something like this.. It's true he would have been denied coverage on his policy before the surgey, so the option would be - go broke or get a wheelchair.

I don't like to recommend this but if you're denied surgery under ObamaCare because they consider you over the hill and not worth saving, you can get reasonable surgeries in South American countries with hospital included. And the hospitals aren't as bad as reported on TV.
I've been down there for minor procedures that cost an arm and a leg in the states. It's a whole new industry. Medical tourism and there are agents online that will hook you up with a good doctor and hospital according to the procedure you need.
A lot of folks on socialized medicine in Britain & Canada frequent these places. Some folks will give recommendations on the blogs for the better sites.

Can someone please point me to the actual document that says your "remaining value to society" will be a factor in your treatment?

  • red nig

Yeah, but my vet takes good care of me. It's the fat guy I gotta get a ride with, wow.

Chief justice voted like he did to keep from being outed by the folks that just outed Anderson Cooper. Look at his lips when he smiles for a photo op.
