The Democrat Nazi Template: Who’s Closer to the Nazi Party Platform?

If you use the word “Chicago,” you’re a racist. If you criticize the president about anything, you’re a racist. For the longest time, “racist” was a debate stopper. Unfortunately for the Democrats, calling everybody a racist doesn’t work anymore.

With this in mind, Democrats have upped the ante by identifying Republicans with Nazis. This attribution goes back a long way, but it’s been ramped up lately as Democrats are getting desperate as they see their electoral advantage nearly disappear.

So it’s not too surprising the some Democrats are pulling the Nazi card. The latest Nazi hunter is South Carolina Democratic chairman Dick Harpootlian. He compared his own governor, Republican Nikki Haley, to Hitler's mistress, Eva Braun at a breakfast in Charlotte, North Carolina. South Carolina’s newspaper The State reported deep down in the story the following with no disapproval:

“S.C. Democratic Chairman Dick Harpootlian, never a loss for a quick quip, tossed a few stinging one-liners at the Wednesday delegation breakfast.

“On Gov. Nikki Haley participating in daily news briefings in a basement studio at the NASCAR Hall of Fame: ‘She was down in the bunker a la Eva Braun.’”

Braun, if you don’t know, was Adolf Hitler mistress. She and the Fuehrer committed suicide in a bunker as World War II was ending.

When asked about the Eva Braun remark, because he’s a Democrat, he dismissed the obvious Nazi reference by feigning ignorance:

“I wasn't saying she is Eva Braun or is like Eva Braun. I was saying she is hiding out. ... She is reclusive. She is not transparent,” he said. “I wasn't comparing her to Eva Braun other than she was in a bunker. I don't even know much about Eva Braun, just that she hung out in a bunker.”

Right.

But, hey, Harpootlian is a Democrat speaking to Democrats, and it’s a good chance he’s right since most Democrat voters probably didn’t catch the Eva Braun reference.

Pat Lehman of the Kansas Democratic delegation was a bit more specific in how she described the Republicans:

“It’s like Hitler said, if you’re going to tell a lie, tell a big lie, and if you tell it often enough and say it in a loud enough voice, some people are going to believe you,”

Not to be outdone, California Democratic John Burton, chairman of the California Democratic Party, compared Republican convention remarks to the tactics of Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

“They lie and they don't care if people think they lie ... Joseph Goebbels — the big lie, you keep repeating it,” Burton said. “That was Goebbels, the big lie.”

Are these guys serious? Are we to believe that everything a Democrat says is the truth? We’re not that stupid, but too many Democrat voters are.

Here’s the real big lie: the Nazi Party was a political movement of the Right. The Nazis were Socialists, thus the name, Nazi: "National Socialists"! They were all about government intervention and social spending.

Hitler remarks in Mein Kampf that he studied German Chancellor Otto Von Bismarck’s “socialist legislation in its intention, struggle and success.” Hitler was not alone in his admiration of Bismarck and what he was able to accomplish through the power of government.

FDR borrowed Bismarck’s socialist agenda like Hitler did and created what is now known as the Social Security System. Bismarck said that “the State must take the matter in hand, since the State can most easily supply the requisite funds. It must provide them not as alms but in fulfillment of the workers’ right to look to the State where their own good will can achieve nothing more.”

Sound familiar? Change the names and dates, and you have today’s Democrat Party.

Hitler and Goebbels would feel right at home at the Dem convention circus. The Dems even insulted the Jews by taking Jeruselem out of the platform along with God.

    • Phillip_in_TX

The Democrats would be giving them "pointers!"

    • Ciaran

Wrong. They would be DISGUSTED by the Abomination.

Yes they won't come out and tell you what they really have in mind , no one will vote for that...

I wish you had mentioned that the DNC is the party of eugenics, with Margaret Sanger its titular ghost. She was obsessed with eliminating undesirables, chilling, actually, because that is the DNC platform--advocacy of infanticide, and forced 'healthcare' law that, indeed, has death panels.

    • Sol_of_Texas

The eugenics enthusiasts are a blood thirsty crew!

    • metheoldsarge

I wonder if the President is aware of the fact that Margaret Sangar was racist. The prime target of Margaret Sangar was people of color, whom she considered inferior to include the Black Communities. Margaret Sangar was a racist and proud of it. Incidentally, she was the founder of Planned Parenthood. Google her name for some very interesting reading.

Can a whole day go by in this country without the Hitler/Nazi name calling? It really is getting to me. I don't know how we ever communicated our differences before the Nazis came along.

    • Shermer

It's called Godwin's Law. No matter what the subject, eventually someone will be compared to Hitler. It doesn't take long around here.

    • guest233

CARLjr..the nazi regime was an axis of utter evil and a period in history that should never be forgotten so as history will never repeat and practice those horrors faced by millions during ww2.

      • CARLjr

It has lost it's importance because it is used everyday to describe anyone and anything you don't agree with. "That Nazi at the coffee shop told me not to take more than one creamer!" I remember when it used to be a real shock if someone was called a Nazi or if they were compared to Hitler. Now it's just a common figure of speech.

    • Sol_of_Texas

      Carljr --

The peculiar thing to me is that WWII was pretty much a struggle between totalitarian national powers: the Axis - Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan (all were closed societies) vs. the Allies - Socialist USSR (closed society), Imperial British Commonwealth (semi-closed society) and Progressive America (semi-closed society). All of these major combatants employed nationalist propaganda to pursue their agendas.

Yes, the American progressives were pushing and achieving a socialist agenda during this time period. It was follow through for TR and (especially) Wilson's beliefs that government's role is both Parent and King -- the roles the Constitution was designed to prevent.

  • Frank K

Good points except for one error - Nazis, like the Fascists in Italy, were all leftist movements. You have propogated Stalin's ruse as he sought to help influence the rise of Communism in pre-war Europe in which he cast those statist systems opposed to communism as being "on the right". They are all totalitarian systems from "leftists" - the only differences is how they achieve their control and administer it.

    • KCPatriot

Did you miss the beginning of that sentence? "Here’s the real big lie: the Nazi Party was a political movement of the Right."

    • Sol_of_Texas

In theory, the only difference between the so-called right wing Nazi and Fascists and the so-called left-wing Communists was that the German and Italian Socialist movements were avowed nationalists, whereas, the Soviet Communists pretended to be "Internationalists" (though because they were dominated by Russians, they were pretty much Russian nationalists).

  • Phillip_in_TX

“I wasn’t saying she is Eva Braun or is like Eva Braun. I was saying she is hiding out. … She is reclusive. She is not transparent,”. . . Ya, and "it's not my fault Obama" is a "window pane!"

  • DockyWocky

Hitler and Goebbels WOULD feel right at home at the DNC, but there would also be a pile of bodies in and around the dumpsters outside the venue, because even Hitler and Goebbels would seriously dislike any of the Democrats in the limelight.

    • controlhead

I think they call that Chicago politics too..

    • Citizen60

I believe quite a fewof famous Nazis and SS were sodomites as well so they would undoubtedly love the DNC

    Everyone's a hero,
everyone's a racist, everyone's this, and everyone’s that. The mainstream media
and the democrat party has used such strong words to describe events that do
deserve the words they have chosen that has made words like HERO not have the
same meaning it used to, the word RACIST isn't as offensive because it is used
so often we have become numb to it. Everyone has to be the same, everything has
to be fair, there can be no exceptionalism sound familiar?

Can anyone say Marxism? Have you read the Communist Manifesto
yet? Insert Obama's picture at the top of the page.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NLORN6B3ZNGCAJTFHWWFUUEY4Q jong

Hitler of course should not be compared to the Republican Party. However neither should Obama for several very simple reasons. Take out the anti Jewish part and the Second World War and you are left with some on that took a country out of the depths of a depression and before WWII built a capitalistic success story. Obama is not a socialist he is a straight up Marxist. In this it is better to compare him to Stalin who never had success in any thing except killing his own people.

“What is usually called socialism was termed by Marx the 'first', or lower, phase of communist society. Insofar as the means of production become common property, the word 'communism' is also applicable here, providing we do not forget that this is not complete communism”

For decades the libs have used teh tactic yell louder and longer and the sheeple will follow. It worked look at obama. Now the libs are being called on it so they think if they yell louder and longer blaming the right with thier tactics the sheelple will again believe. And many do, look at the delegate at the dnc who would like to kill Mitt Romney. Wonder if the FBI has spoken to her yet?

Is there a dummicrat anywhere who will tell the truth and stop the lying about what they said? This jerk should have guessed what most would have thought by the term "a la" meant but, they don't give a damn, they just lie their way out of it. Look at Debbie Wasserman-Shultz this morning, denying about what she said in an interview and it is on tape that she said it. They just don't care as long as they can make the world believe what they WANT THEM TO BELIEVE SO THAT THE WORLD WILL THINK THE WORST OF THE PERSON THEY ARE LYING ABOUT. Watch them on interviews, they have their talking points and they refuse to answer questions just keep on talking about the points they want the listener to hear. They talk over the interviewer and refuse to listen to the question. I never did like the dummicratic party and, after almost four years of the arrogant, lyiing, nose in the air dummicrat donkey in the WH and the past several months of this pre-election campaign with the dummicrats telling one lie to cover up for the last lie they told, I can honestly say I HATE ALL OF THEM! What jerks and don't tell me the Romney campaign is as bad because they aren't. They are trying to stick to the concerns of the American people.

  • metheoldsarge

Now the news people are asking the Democrats if they really think of Republicans as Nazis after the third Democrat official made such a reference. I'm curious as to why they even have to ask such a question. It isn't what they really think of the Republicans. It's the age old Progressive trick of accusing the other side of the apparent connection you yourself has to the evil regime. Call them the name first and no one will dare call you that name when it becomes abundantly clear that you use those tactics and brutal force. Just the nature of politics these days. Do on to others but do it first.

Isn't that the Democrat Party Platform? As a matter of fact, Obama's unofficial campaign slogan is, "Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?"

Speaking of Naxis - Joseph Goebels could have taken lessons from Obama and his group. Goebe's misinformation, half truths, and downright lies would pale in comparison to those being spread by the Obama and the liberal Democrats.

While Mr. DeMar is correct in his analysis about the Nazis being politically on the left, errs in one point. He stated, " The Nazis were Socialists, thus the name, Nazi: “National Socialists“" ( Bold in original). Actually, the name "Nazi" came not from being Socialist but rather from the way party name is "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter-Partei" is pronounced, the "National" portion sounding like "Nazi-o-nal" thus "Nazi" party.

I am re-posting this from Raymond posted a comment in VA Board of Elections Rejects GOP Challenge to Keep Third Party Off Ballot · a day ago
    Who am I?

I was born in one country, raised in another.

My father was born in another country.

I was not his only child. He fathered several
    children with numerous women.

I became very close to my mother, as my father
    showed no interest in me.

My mother died at an early age from cancer.

Although my father deserted me and my mother raised me,
I later wrote a book idolizing my father, not my mother.

Later in life, questions arose over my real name.

    My birth records were sketchy.
No one was able to produce a legitimate,
    reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity,
as it was widely accepted in my new country, but I practiced
non-traditional beliefs and didn't follow Christianity, except
in the public eye under scrutiny.

I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult,
disguising myself as someone who really cared about them.

That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my
life and embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up.
It was clear to those who read my memoirs that
I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned
    me as a child.

I became active in local politics in my 30's; then,
with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto
the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40s.

They said I had a golden tongue and could talk
    anyone into anything.

I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history,
and no experience in leading a single organization.

Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me,
as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances.
    This bolstered my ego.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign
policy... I was very critical of my country in the last war, and
seized every opportunity to bash my country.

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my
    views on the country's economy.

I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do
better, and every poor person would be fed and housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess.

It was the free market, banks and corporations.

I decided to start making citizens hate them and,
if they became envious of others who did well, the plan
    was clinched tight.

    I called mine "A People's Campaign".

That sounded good to all people.

I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from
outside the traditional path of politics and was able to
    gain widespread popular support.

I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope',
together we could change our country and the world.

So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were
on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include
    "persecuted minorities".

My true views were not widely known, and I kept them unknown,
until after I became my nation's leader.

I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily
found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my
writings and examined those people associated with. I'm glad they didn't.

Then I became the most powerful man in the world.

And then world learned the truth.

    Who am I?

    ADOLPH HITLER
If you were thinking of SOMEONE ELSE,
You should be scared, very scared!

I've been saying since 2008 that obama uses Nazi tactics and Nazi like propaganda. They do this all the time, accuse the GOP/Romney of the very thing they know they are most guilty of. It is a Nazi/Saul Alinsky tactic. People are not buying the crop of lies and nonsense anymore. Americans see obama for what he is, a traitor, muslim usurper, pathological liar hell bent on the making our nation a Third World country. May GOD save the United States!!

Where is Fearless Leader when you need him. Every time this happens we know he condones it. Like a thief in the night. Silient, yet deadly.
The more one reads the message from the Democrats is hate ,hate, hat, and blame, blame, blame. The Democrats are the true bigots and racists. They will never acknowledge it. Never.
