Obama Leading America Down Same Economic Path to Disaster As Europe

Parts of Europe are in a worse economic crisis than the U.S. and according to Republican Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan, Barack Obama’s economic policies are mirroring those of the European Union and will lead to the same disastrous results.

At a campaign stop in Wisconsin, Ryan told a crowd that Democrats were not solely to blame for our current situation, but the Republicans also share part of the blame.  But what he did tell them is that current path being taken by Obama will lead us down to the same financial disaster that is plaguing Europe:

“When President Obama came into office, he inherited a difficult situation. Both political parties contributed to this mess, Republicans and Democrats.”

“You see, what’s happened is decades of politicians from both political parties made lots of empty promises to people to get elected, and pretty soon, if we have a debt crisis like that which is now plaguing Europe, these empty promises become broken promises – that’s what’s happening in Europe today.”

“The unemployment rate of youth in Italy and Greece is over 50 percent. They’re losing a whole generation of people. If we copy and follow European economics, we will copy and follow European results.”

“That’s the path that President Obama has us on, and that’s the path we’re going to get off when we elect Mitt Romney on November the 6th.”

After the video clip, Ryan went on to tell the crowd:

“Every man, woman and child’s share of the national debt was $36,000 when President Obama came into office. Now, four years of failed leadership, of empty promises, it’s gone up 45 percent. It’s $51,000.”

“That is the share of debt that every single person has. Every child born into this society, into our community, into Wisconsin, starts off 51 grand in the red. That’s something we simply cannot afford. We cannot afford to keep piling this debt on to our children and our grandchildren.”

If you’ve been following any of the news out of Greece or the rest of Europe over the past couple of years, you should remember the riots, protests and violence that has taken place.  Students and public workers in Greece have taken to the streets on numerous occasions demanding answers and that someone fix a very broken economy.  Under Obama, we’ll soon see the same riots and protests.  They will be more violent and demanding than the Occupy Movement protests that fizzled across the country in the past year.

Even the QE3 stimulus the feds just launched is designed to only make the economy and jobs worse and plunge the U.S. further into debt.  They are investing in areas that will not result in jobs as the QE3 is designed to create.  By the end of 2014 QE3 will add an additional $2 trillion onto the U.S. balance sheets.

When will the Democrats learn that we broke away from Europe in 1776?  We are not Europe.  We don’t want our healthcare fashioned after their failing system and we don’t want our economy fashioned after theirs either.

Odumba is leading us exactly where his puppet masters tell him.

Obama wants rioting on a nation wide level just like his support of black on white violence, vote fraud and wide open borders. It makes his destruction of this nation easier.

It really makes me want to puke when obummer and the dummicrats continue to blame Bush for EVERYTHING, never looking to what they are doing to make bad matters worse. Bush didn't WANT the events of 9-11. He didn't want the money spent that it took to clean up that event. They just look at the way things were 8 years after 9-11 and do they really think that things would be all roses if we didn't step in and help the people of Iraq? Who will they blame for the way things are left in 2013 if obummer gets back in? Will they go on for another 4 years blaming Bush? Then another 8 years blaming Bush if Hillary gets elected. WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!! And, God forbid the above elections. Vote Rjomney-Ryan before America is totally distroyed!

When you're not doing a good job, or even doing your job, it's so much easier to blame someone else.
Hillary get elected? Perish the thought. I had enough trouble listening to Obama without having to listen to that "babe" screech.

      • Doodlebug

I agree "perish the thought," however, we keep hearing little tidbits about her getting ready to make the run! Nothing will surprise me, even obummer squeaking out a win this time. God help us all if that happens!

Putting GOD in the equation puts a different slant on things. Neither of the candidates are Christian so why would GOD OK either one of them. We are just in a mess that we have made ourselves. We blame Obama, well who put Obama in office, I can say , I did not have anything to do with it, but somebody did. Now it has come down to voting for the lesser of two evils. I believe GOD looks at that as "evil is evil!" We have run this country many years with very little regard to GOD OR TO HIS SON. They have been basically eliminated, So what are we gonna do now?? I don't think GOD wants anything to do with us. The Democrats tried their best to shove HIM off of their platform but HE had already left that platform long ago. OK they say we will put HIM back on the platform, that shows us how much they know about GOD, No way Hosea!!

Republicans, Christians?? No sign of it!! You know about the "tree" in the Bible a good tree puts forth good fruit a bad tree......Romney-Ryan?? Christians? I really do not know about Ryan, but who can call Romney a Christian? He says he is a Christian? So does Obama! Where does that put us? Up the creek without a paddle! Never fear there is still an option a perfect option, there is GOD the same GOD that the Democrats tried to get back on their platform What do we think HE will do?

We can become "Germany" in that we can be lean and mean and have an excellent economy that can pay for more social programs for Seniors, Vets and the Truly Disabled. Or be like Greece where those groups will go hungry because of the waste. Liberals do not make good government in that they spend what they do not have. Conservatives know what must be done and how to have programs to take care of those who are older, have served or can not do themselves. It starts with getting those that can work totally off government assistance either by choice or throw them off.

    • Matforce

Germanyimposes a 19% tariff on imports (except some agri. and raw materials) to protect their industrial/manufacturing sector, and keep wages high, contributing to the amount of disposable income available in their work force to pump capital into their economy. We don't do that here. Our short-sighted corporate model is one where we allow our manufacturing dynamo to be increasingly offshored to the likes of China for a larger retrun, cutting the middle class out of the economic picture.

      • Progressive Republican

The irony being that China is largely following the pre-Reagan American economic model. It working as well for them as it did for us before that lying traitor won the 1980 election.

obama is anti America anti God, anti Christians, anti Military, anti Israel, anti our Constitution
he went to foreign countries and threw us under a bus calling us arrogant and said we were not a Christian nation just to appease his muslim brotherhood.

Do you want four more years of this terrorist loving puke in the white house, I sure as the hell don't.

  • KarenWI

Paul Ryan, down to earth, REAL, straight talker, for sure.

  • Screeminmeeme

Obama is leading us down a path of economic disaster...BECAUSE IT'S HIS PLAN!
He hates this America.....thinks we're too big for our britches...and is going to do whatever he can to change that by reducing us to 3rd war country status.

Reason enough to kick him to the curb.

The biggest issue for the USA is to reinvigorate the middle
class with decent paying jobs. Our next 20 years must reverse the trends of the
last 20. The advancement of the Corporate State must be addressed, which will
mean replacing the Free Trade Agreements with Fair Trade Agreements,
de-incentivizing the offshoring of jobs by repealing the $20-30 BILLION/yr that
exist in the tax code for offshoring corporations, and grant generous
incentives in the tax code for corporations and small businesses that keep jobs
    home and hire USA workers.

An extremely successful ploy of the GOP that has steered the conversation to
their advantage, but couldn't be further from the truth, are not even mentioned
in this a article. The mantra from the right claiming that Obama incites
"class warfare" and the "redistribution of wealth,"
couldn't be further from the truth. Here's why...

Real output in the (non-farm) business sector increased by 140% between 1980
and 2010. Real compensation per hour (includes wages, benefits, pensions, and
    insurance) increased by only 38%.

In the post WWII world, between 1947 and 1979, Americans shared equally in the
increase in output that took place. In those 30 years, the income of the bottom
20% increased by 116% and the top 20% by 99%, and the three middle quintiles
    within that range.

Then the world flipped! From 1980 to 2007 the rich took practically all of the
increase in income. Over those decades, the bottom 20% got only a 15% increase,
and the middle three quintiles got an average increase of about 25%. The top
20% received an income increase of 95% and the top 1% saw an increase of 261%.
During the boom years of the middle 50s and 60s the nation's wealthiest 10%
received 33% of the nation's personal income; by 2007, they received 50%

The most obvious way that the GOP has robbed the middle class to give to the
rich has been the changes they have wrought in the tax code. Marginal rates
have been slashed from 70% to 28% and capital gains tax has been cut to less
than half the rate of the upper middle class income tax rate.

A more subtle way they have accomplished this was through the redistribution of
wealth of the USA manufacturing sector to the finance sector. The new game on
Wall Street coincidentally, isn't USA manufacturing like it was before the Free
Trade Agreements with China. It should come as no surprise that China's gigantic manufacturing sector is now the heavy favorite on Wall Street ($600
BILLION annual trade deficits), a shift that benefits only China, the
investment industry, and the top 20% who make most of their money in the
financial/investment industry and whose tax burden is the slightest in the land
through capital gains rates of less than 14%.

When we are in the same economic circumstance as Greece I wonder what liberals will think when they can't go into the streets because of riots and burning businesses? Obama has his legions of followers lined up to do exactly that if he loses this election. Rule by riot or threat of riot is what he does.

  • http://www.facebook.com/joe.zimmerman.77 Joe Zimmerman

Ryan speaks the truth ODUMBA want to turn America into another Europe , just look at Greece and France is almost the same , if you want to see riots in the streets wait until unemployment of our youth is 50% , 4 more years of ODUMBA will destroy AMERICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
