Romney Sweeps the Debates with 14 Days to Go

Some of my friends on the right can be excused for wishing that Romney had gone for the throat tonight. Obama practically begged him to on the Libya debacle, and yet Romney didn’t take the bait, providing measured, competent, intelligent, reasonable, and dare I say, Presidential, answers each step of the way. Obama looked angry, petulant, and childish.

As Charles Krauthammer said, Romney played a serious game tonight, and Obama played small-ball, only small-ball doesn’t capture just how small he went. In between a multitude of accusations like, “you have investments in companies that ship jobs overseas to China” (you know, like, um, Apple), Obama was rude, dismissive, defensive, and ultimately, desperate. This was a very good night for Mitt Romney.

Neither the second nor third debate represented the kind of devastation Romney exposed the President to in debate #1, but that would have been impossible. What Romney did tonight was demonstrate a keen competence in matters of foreign policy, and eliminate any possibility of Obama being able to link him to Bush/Cheney. In fact, Obama himself looked far more like Bush/Cheney than anyone else has since, well, Bush and Cheney. It is a true irony of this election that those who claim to have opposed Bush and Cheney’s militaristic imperialism do not seem to notice Obama’s drone-killings,, maintenance of Gitmo, and open bragging about intervention in Libya, etc.

But I digress. The truth is that Romney was so prepared for tonight, it is uncanny. Obama’s people can not be happy that Romney so skillfully avoided the various traps they set for him.

I think each guy had a few one-liners of note tonight, but none was more effective (or true) than Romney’s defense of America against Obama’s “apology tour.” That America has not been a dictator, but rather freed countries from dictators, is indisputable. The Ron Paul Libs and the George Soros Libs have no response to it. We have not occupied anyone on planet earth, and in fact have been the greatest force for good and peace the world has ever seen (even if one disagrees with some of the policy decisions along the way). Romney struck a perfect balance between criticizing the President and defending America’s place in the world.

Look, the election is not over yet, but we could be on our way. Obama gained no ground tonight, and he needed to. Romney was Presidential, and that is exactly what you want from the man who will soon be President.

14 days to go, friends. God-fearing people are praying for Romney to close this deal, and put an end to the most disastrous Presidency in any of our lifetimes.

  • Liberal? Nope.

Romney supported the president's position on most foreign policy issues, except how much money to spend.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1254545548 Jim Greaves

I can have supported anything Obama did or didn't do, but I have no vote. Democrats owned both houses of Congress during Bush's last two years. Accomplished nothing. They owned both houses when O was inaugurated. Accomplished TREMENDOUS lot, tripling the national debt and bankrupting more companies than any other president could claim to have done. Yup. Obama is a real winner. I do not think you are right - Romney has NOT supported all those stupid positions, nor Obama's foreign policy methods or results. Look what a disaster O has created. Romney is running against those disasters. Ipso facto, you are wrong.

Although Mitt did agree with many of obamas policies last night, I thought he did an excellent job of defining an option in several cases. None of which was more apparent than the lack of a status of forces agreement with Iraq. The failure of obama & biden to close the deal when it came to this has helped the terrorist to move into Iraq in a big way without the worry of any American help for Iraq. This also would have given us a springboard very close to Iran, NOT that I think anyone wants a war with Iran, I do feel that the more powerfull we are in the region, the less likely Iran is to "Try Us" in a head on confrontation. As for the childish behavior of the Pres. last night I think that will hurt him more than anything else that was said by either man. There were several areas that niether one of the men went into that I thought should have been covered. Mali is one of the biggest that we heard nothing about! I do not believe that Mitt Romney is the "Savior" of our country, but I do believe that he is a much better man for the job. Obama talks as if he has a long record of Exp. in world affairs, we all know that he was as green as you can be 4 years ago and it looks like we have paid for his "On the job training" with several missed opportunities around the world. Nowhere is our security more in weakened than in the National Debt, this is a problem that I do expect Romney to tackle head on!

  • Screeminmeeme

    Romney's not stupid.

One reason he's been successful as a businessman is his ability to read his opponents and there is no doubt that he understands Obama and his tactics well. Like many, I wanted to see Romney take Obama to task on the Libya disaster and hold his feet to the fire, but instead saw someone who was composed, self-contained, and circumspect in his responses.

I believe Obama was taken aback by Romney's non-confrontational tack and was forced to toss his prepared answers and wing it. His remarks at times were snarky and juvenile and his ''death-stare''', laughable. And he lied, as usual.

He accused Romney of wanting the auto industry to go into bankruptcy without help from the fed gov.......untrue. Just check his 11/8/08 NY Times op ed.

He said that his administration is concerned about minority religious groups in the Middle East ......total lie. He has not uttered one word about the persecution, torture, enslavement and murder of Christians by Muslims in that aread which has been going on for decades. When he spoke at the University of Cairo in 2009, just a couple of miles down the road, the on-going Muslim attacks on Christians were being carried out.......and there was nary a word from him then, nor since.

He said that he has kept Americans safe from acts of terror. Fort Hood is one glaring example of ISLAMIC terrorism which was RENAMED by the Obama administration as ''workplace violence''. In deference to his Muslim buddies, he is willing to deny the ISLAMIC terrorism which resulted in the deaths of 13 Americans.

Those of us who care about such things wanted to see Obama held accountable. He was not.

I just hope that Romney's calculated restraint was a winning strategy.

    • http://www.facebook.com/john.nicoletti.54 John Nicoletti

Excellent post,Screeminmeeme. You nailed it beautifully, and accurately. Romney, handled himself, welllll, very Presidential. We have seen what a true Oval Office resident looks like, and, for me personally, I like what i saw.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003695440128 Dave Erhardt

Romney also mentioned about the protests in Tehran last year and how the president just stood on the sidelines and offered no help to the protesters. Romney's apology tour remarks were priceless. Romney started slow but got stronger as the debate wore on. Obama started strong but got more desperate as the debate went on. By Romney looking more presidential and by the fact he had as much knowledge of foreign affairs as Obama, Romney came out as the winner.

      • Doodlebug

And, did you notice how angry he looked? I think he must have gotten a lecture after the first debate, when he wouldn't even look at Romney, as this time he had that d___n you look in his eyes and just kept on staring at Romney. I was glad that it didn't get to Romney, that he was able to just keep on with whatever he was speaking to. I do wish Romney would have let him "have" it but was really glad when he said obummers remark to Putin about after the election things would be better. I don't remember (old age), exactly but I bet the rest of you do.

        • jobird

Yes,we did witness the look in his eyes.Pure Evil

A Muslim jihadist murders 13 American soldiers on American soil (unarmed by the executive order issued by that impeached disbarred felon Clinton) and sends to hospital 23 other soldiers - and our marxist government calls that "a workplace violence". Jihadists all across the Muslim world murder people and Mullah Obama calls it "overseas contingencies". Similarly, the North Korean mass murderers call their Gulag a "People's Democratic Republic".

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_WGTNEJUHPDJ4LYOE7HRIXUKJD4 Lawrence

But North Korea IS a great example of what Democrats are striving for. Many communist dictatorships include the word Democratic in their name. Democracy is the first step towards totalitarianism. That's why the founding fathers rejected it, in favor of a Constitutional Republic. It is only recent politicians who think that American is a "democracy" and commit troops to "making the world safe for Democracy". Rule by the mob is NOT a good thing. It leads to North Korea.

      From Mike S:

This final third debate was in my opinion the
best of the three between Romney and Obama. There was no doubt in my
      own mind that the President "won" the first half (plus) of the debate;
as he came across as far more informed and experienced in foreign policy
than Romney, and far more presidential. Interestingly, Gov. Romney
barely challenged him, and clearly came across as the least informed and
experienced. But necessarily so, as he lacked the President's experience. This may have been Romney's strategy - not to seriously contest the President and basically to align with the President's foreign policy. I did see a much improved Romney during the last third in the debate, as he seemed to consciously pivot to
discuss the economy and domestic affairs (e.g., jobs). I think the President handled Romney well - and the exchange between the two was rigorous and brilliant - and really revealed the brilliance of both men. In sum, though, I thought Obama came out on top - though interestingly I didn't think Romney hurt himself badly. Now the ads get revved up, and the contest will probably come out very close. I'd say too close to call at this moment.

      • Screeminmeeme

Daves....So...it doesn't bother you at all that Obama lied? The reason he lies is he knows that those who support him either consider lying permissible .....or are too stupid or apathetic to care.

Integrity is very important to me and Romney has it. One of the reasons that Obama is so frustrated by him is that he has been unable to dig up anything that is morally questionable. Romney has character that Obama can't even imagine possessing

Reputation destruction has become one of Obama's most successful tactics ever since his ignominious beginnings in Chicago. Hes won by attacking the person instead of just the person's policies. Axelrod is the supreme story spinner and he has a platoon of dirt finders on call ready and willing to exhume skeletons and embarrassments from an opponent's past.

What really bothers me is that Obama's penchant for pathological lying and sober commitment to Marxism DOESN'T bother half of America.

        • http://www.facebook.com/david.simmons.7503 David Simmons

Yes, I totally agree I guess it doesn't matter if he lied....or maybe "daves" just does not know the difference between a lie and the truth.
          Obama thrives on ignorant people.

        • daves

How many Mitt Romney lies from the debates can you identify?

        • TRUTHTELLER

          David S,,
It is usless to try to reason with trolls like daves. Left Wing/Democrats do not function by reason and logical deduction. Daves is over here from the daily cos, moveon.org or huff&puff whense he came, in order to attempt (and I say attempt) to muddy the waters with liberal drivel and Demo talking points (lies).
What you do with a little child, throwing a tantrum in a department store, is not pay attention to him. When the child sees they are getting no attention, the tantrum will cease. Same with daves. Don't engage him, and he will go away.

        • daves

Of course it bothers me. Do all of the lies Mr. Romney tells bother you?

I don't think it would be possible to find an honest president now that George Washington is dead. It would be refreshing though.

      • danimal

They must have had a different debate on your TV than mine. I saw a little black man getting his ass whipped in public

      • Ed

Dave...Those trees your looking at...That is the forest. There is one little aspect of virtue in charactor that needs to be addressed and that little word is integrity. One must posses the wisdom to dissifer between a con and reality. With all the discripencies in the presidents qualifcations, his questionable extreme left associations(including the present day cabinet/quasars), his religous affillations, the sealed education transcript(his and the first lady's)....ect. I'll not elaborate on the distiction of judgement of merit on his pre-office activities. Let's observe what BO has, in general, bought to the table in his adminastration. We have witnessed the most extreme left winged radical adminastration this country will hopefully ever have to endur. Getting back to the point at hand. Did you corrolate what was said by BO and what is actually happening, in the real world. Intelligents is a wonderful thing if used correctly and for the good of mankind. When it's used to divert and manipulate the facts or mislead the truth it's simply a""LIE". You stated that BO won the fist half(plus) of the debate. Ask yourself one question, What was the integrity behind his agenda? Me I'm all about God and country...I'd like to think I do have the wisdom to see through a 'con' job and as the ol' sayin' goes, If it has a bill and feathers, webbed feet, waddles and quacks like a duck...guess what...you make the call

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_KIRZSBSOQWEIGNURVTKR37LIGQ GMiller

There were actually too many similarities in positions for my likes. But at least, Romney has no apologies and realizes we need forces to have any credibility- peace through strength and doing what you say you will do. He would also be less likely to support Jihadists. It's nice to have a candidate again who doesn't hate his country and free enterprise and actually knows something besides community organizing- business and finance. Neither candidate has any real plan for a balanced budget, although Romney would move us incrementally in that direction. No strong country without a strong economy, folks. Entitlement and debt service costs will eat us alive in the future.

    • anniedawn

Entitlement and debt service. How to handle that? We need extreme measures. Why do we pay 24% of the UNs budget? The most corrupt entity in the world. Foreign aid? Why do we give countries like India $143 million a year (maybe higher now) while they compete with us internationally for oil and jobs and vote against the US 87% of the time in the UN. Illegals (Obama's hope for reelection) cost $338 billion a year in 2009. The price is up to $571 billion now. We owe $16+ trillion in debt. About $6 trillion is to foreign countries. The other $10 trillion is to social security, medicare, etc. We owe the $10 trillion to ourselves but the liberals are to busy scraping and bowing to foreigers and illegals to bother with American citizens who are the real losers to the government. What really irks me is that Obama and the anti-American Senate voted to keep giving $4 billion to people who hate us Egypt, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The last two are guilty of murdering Americans. The murderers are men our military are suppose to trust. I personally feel that Obama leans more toward Islam.

      • babygirl825

you'd BETTER NOT be comparing SS and Medicare to giving illegals a free ride !

        • anniedawn

I SAID that WE owe OURSELVES $10 trillion. The money for illegals is paid BEFORE anything for Americans. Cancelling those other "debts" we do not really owe can pay ourselves back. Deporting illegals would be part of the payback for the money saved.

        • BUD

WHEN I HAVE PAID INTO SS FOR 41 YEARS, HOW DO THEY CONSIDER IT AN ENTITLEMENT. THE GOVT OWES ME, FOR THE HUGH SUM I HAVE PAID IN.

        • http://www.facebook.com/david.simmons.7503 David Simmons

Social Security is not an entitlement.

        • thismustend

The amount YOU paid in would last approx. 5 years, do you plan on living more than 5 years after you retire? That having been said SS is a ponzi scheme, the money YOU paid in went to pay benefits of those that were already retired at the time. There is no personal account with your name on it, YOUR retirement is being paid for by those working now.
Side note, ILLEGALS can collect SS after working here 18 months, as a LEGAL, U.S. citizen you have to work TEN YEARS to collect SS, fair?

        • TRUTHTELLER

          thismustend,
I do not consider Social security, run as it was designed to run, in the thirties, to be an entitlement. It was originally created as an supplemental backup for one's PRIVATE pension. Over the first two and one half decades, the social security trust grew very large and very healthy. More than able to cover all retirees disbursments, even healthy enough to cover the baby boom spike, of retirees, we are expierencing now.
This is, in fact, now not the case. Along came that thief and pork barrel politician, Lyndon Johnson, who convinced Congress to allow him to loot the social security trust, for the purpose of funding his "Great Society" programs which WERE entitlement payoffs to the lazy, uneducated and generational welfare reciepiants, who became his devoted voters. (sound familiar)
Many other politicians followed suit and raided the social security trust, for their pet pork, social programs, until now, the social security trust, (the piggy bank) is empty.
In order to correct this, Two major changes, must occur. First, as we now we now live longer and healthier lives, than we did in the thirties, many people working into their seventies, the retirement age should be raised a couple of years. Secondly, the social security trust should be made inviolate. No politican, government agency or committee, should be allowed to touch the trust, for any reason, other than retirement disbursments to qualified American citizen reciepiants. No ups, no extras, no welfare entitlements, no illegals.
The above steps, will within a few years, cure the system.

He leans that way because he actually is a radical Muslim. Their solution to Social Security account being overdrawn is to print twice as much money. That way, those of us on SS will get half a payment after the devaluation.

    • Jimmy

You have to realize that one thing Obummer wanted to do is paint Romney as a radical shoot from the hip cowboy that will get us into another conflict the minute he takes office. The path taken had to be narrow and not too extreme. Obummer was frustrated because he couldn't attack virtually his own policies......Clever Huh? The point being is to win the election and then implement strong foreign policies....

We watched the 3rd debate on foreign policies between Obama and Romney last evening. It was a typical subdued RINO-wimp type performance by a “decent” Mitt Romney. If, after the 80-year history of Marxism marked inevitably by terror, utter poverty, and mass murder, a Republican is unable to crush a newly-minted Marxist like Obama – then we will face a future full of misery and pain. All the old slogans so well-known by us the refugees from various communist hells were in evidence – “social justice” (extend the welfare classes), “spread the wealth” (punish enterprise and risk), “tax the rich” (treat them as criminals), “invest in education and infrastructure”(increase the power of far-left unions), “negotiate with mortal enemies” (let us hope in their reasonableness), “lead from behind” (see what happens and then think about it), “push for the Arab Spring movements” (that inevitably lead to new jihadist governments), “search for reasonable compromises”(with sworn enemies of freedom), “level the playing field” (make sure the stupid and the lazy are successful), “save the environment” (by killing excess population), “invest in green energies of the future” (non-existent), “let us understand the yearnings for democracy” (by the mullahs and ayatollahs), “let us enforce the principles of affirmative action, multiculturalism, inclusiveness, diversity” (to destroy the legacy of our Declaration of Independence), “rules of engagement must be respected” (that murder our soldiers), “we need to hire more teachers” (for their far-left unions already twice as large as needed), “Obama saved General Motors and Chrysler” (by giving their unions $25 billions of printed money and delaying their inevitable bankruptcies), etc.
All in all, let us continue our progress toward the trickle-down tyranny and the trickle-down poverty. Our Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated the she was responsible for the murder of 4 Americans by the Benghazi jihadists; and then what? Has she resigned? Has a murder prosecution against her been initiated? No – Obama declared that he was responsible, being the big boss; more empty words? After the already declared “October” surprises (the phony manufactured unemployment and inflation numbers) we can now expect other pre-November 6th surprises – say, new “negotiations” with the Iran’s ayatollahs, and a surprise attack by bombers and a Marines’ incursion in Benghazi to punish those murderers. Has Romney mentioned any of these points? Well, no – he is a decent and reasonable politician; he will pursue “reasonable compromises with the Democrats like he did it in Massachusetts”.
Our Main stream Media will celebrate the triumph of Obama’s performance; and I will vote with sadness for Romney in spite of the near certainty of Obama’s victory and our continued descent toward the new United Soviet Socialist States of America. By the way, in Russian language “soviet” means “community organization”.

I think when you have had so many face-offs with someone you want to let people see you inteligence and leadership abilities. Not alwasy on the attack is what is takes to be a leader. Not a radical leader but someone who will be able to negotiate with a chaallenger and let people know in the world there are alternatives besides the same old war and peace war and peace! destroy and rebuild etc. Romeny is going to make a difference whne president. He is going to say to the world: "hey are you profiting and building a better lifestyle, country or world with your religious fanatisicm?" "Well lets try something different."
Who do you want leading us in the next four years?

  • ObozoMustGo

I had a different view of last night. I think that Obozo has been a disaster for America in domestic affairs, and a disaster for the world in foreign affairs. When your opponent exposes his weak spots, you must attack them. Romney did not have to be overly aggressive or mean spirited to have knocked Obozo on his arse multiple times. I was not pleased with the fact that he agreed with Obozo multiple times, and was disappointed that he so obviously avoided attacking him when the table was set perfectly for him. How would Obozo have defended Libya if it was laid out straight and simple? How would he have responded if Romney brought up Obozo's courting of the Muslim Brotherhood? How would Obozo have responded to the fact that he gave GM tens of billions so they could create jobs and build factories in China? How the hell could any of those facts been traps for Romney? I can't figure it out except that perhaps his internal polling is telling him that he's got the race won by a big margin and to not take any risks. It may also explain why Obozo has been acting like a spoiled little brat the past few weeks. Whatever, I still believe in the philosophy that once you've got the snake, you cut the head all the way off.
    Just my 2 cents.
    Have a nice day!
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure,
the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."

I can think of 1000 reasons to try Obozo for treason, high crimes and misdemeanors, and any other unconstitutional power grab he has dictated over the Congress and the people. Liby is just 1 more.

I am not happy with the way the votes will be counted. I see no reason that the votes have to be counted in another country. maybe I am wrong, but I think something is real screwie there. This country must have a few people that know how to count

    • OleDad48

Fox News this morning evaluted it this way: Romney was going for the women's vote, which he is losing. "Women do not like attacks, so Romney intentionally did not attack." It was his choice. He bent over backwards to support Obama's diplomatic moves, while still calling for stronger measures and military assurances. Result? The first tracking poll this morning shows women likely voters breaking 50-50. That's huge. Only time will tell if he made the right choice.

      • ObozoMustGo

I sure they did. Maybe they are right, maybe they are wrong. i don't know. All I know is that if you're in a street fight (and any politics with Obozo is a street fight) when your opponent sticks his face out at you and puts his hands behind his back, you knock him out right away. Romney not knocking out Obozo when he had clean shots to do so is puzzling and alarming, frankly.
Water under the bridge now. It's all in God's hands now. Keep praying on your knees for God to inspire America to throw out the anti-American, anti-Christian, muslim imposter called Barak Hussein Obozo. Keep on praying.
        Have a nice day!
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency...Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president." - Czech Republic newspaper Prager Zeitung

  • Emslykarl

Obama's debate performance last night was anything but presidential ! He was arrogant and condescending ; describing Aircraft Carriers and Submarines to Romney as though he were a first-grader ! It was downright embarrassing to watch the Leader of the Free World so disgustingly patronizing in a public forum ! The truth is that he can not behave otherwise when challenged, because of his ego ! What America saw on that stage , were two different men ! One , Romney , has all the attributes and temperament suitable for the Office of POTUS ; the other , Obama , is a Community Organizer still struggling with his identity ! Just who is Barack Obama ? No one knows for sure ; not even Obama himself ! What I witnessed was a self-absorbed , immature , bully , trying to intimidate his opponent with the sheer force of his Office ! It did not work , and America will judge him lacking !

    • OleDad48

Only problem is that "horses and bayonets" line is being touted as the wonning line of the debate! I disagree -- I think the "apology tour" explanation by Romney waas the high point. Obama simply lied about it (again).

Romney was presidential. Obama looked like a street agitator. It was amazing to watch the snide, smirky expression on this president's face! Romney has received no breaks from the media in the campaign. The moderators have been, at best, "non factors." At worst, they have been "cohorts" of the President. We observed one booby trap after another. Mitt refused to bite. In the end, he did exactly what he wanted to do: "Reassure America that he was up to the task of running the country."

    • OleDad48

  • cae973

    As independents my husband and I watched all 3 debates. Romney won first one as obama appeared to be in some kind of drug stupor. Romney also won the second one due to the fact that we were aware of the numerous lies obama told in that debate and we felt Romney won the 3rd debate by showing he was knowlegable, mature, responsible, caring and Presidential while obama came across as a street thug trying to intimidate...today we mailed in our early ballots for Romney because he is what obama isn t....an honest man, an informed man and a truthful man and he will be what obama wasn't.....a President:}

    • Patrriot

Thank you, cae973. My husband and I had the pleasure of hearing Gov. Romney in person at the John and Mable Ringling Museum in Sarasota, FL. We had gone out of curiosity - he was not our choice. However, as he spoke, his sincerity touched our hearts. He LOVES America and he respects people. Just watch his actions. He will not be a perfect president - no one has ever been. That being said, he will be far better than what we have all suffered through for the past 46 months. Our votes will join yours and please God, they will be blessed and more will join us. We are praying for a landslide!

I would have enjoyed seeing Romney go for the throat rather than the self composure he showed, but i quickly realized that the strenght it took for that self composure was much better that a go for the throat tactic. Yes i would have loved to see Obama have to explain that while we are still not drilling in the gulf both china and brazil are. China with a wink and Brazil with a few billion of our dollars to'help' them along in the drilling. A george Soros owned company like petrobras doesnt need any of our money to 'help them along'. If you own a computer,a cell phone and many other electronic devices most if not all of the parts and even assembly is done in china, so anyone with a hedge fund or investments in a multitude of companies relies on China. Obama's connection to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Ft Hood massacre are all Terrorist activities and once he is gone I truly pray the political correct crap goes out the door with him. Obama's pandering to our enemies is evident in everything this man does and he once said that if it came down to the west vs the islamic world he would side with the islamic world. That staement alone should have disqualified him from any political office in this country in MHO as to me that is a very treasonous statement and his actions have shown that

Mitt is definately more presidential than Obama - he certainly didn't fall for Obama's tactics of trying to provoke Mitt into a fight. Shows Mitt has the control to deal with difficult situations - unlike Obama who "dictates" to try to get his way.
I think the angry face that Obama had the entire eveing, when Mitt spoke, was evidence enough that Obama knows he's finished.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Roscoe-Bonnifitucci/100000459519027 Roscoe Bonnifitucci

Mitt Romney appeared in control, knowledgable and most of all like a President. Obama was his normal oily, slick bull crapper with no grasp of the seriousness of the situation for America...only his own selfish good. He continues to reveal a false sense of "outrage" that is custom tailored for the narrative he weaves at that moment in time.

Obama continues to Blame Throw and duck any responsibility. Even his statement that we would NOT cut Defense Budget was immediately turned into we "SHOULD" NOT reduce the Defense Budget by his Marxist Aide Axelrod after the Debate.

If Obama had one ounce of Integrity, he would have told Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett to shove the Marxist Crap and thus stood for America. Instead, Obama continues to be the hand puppet for the Socialists. What a Turd of a President we have in Obama.

Mitt Romney will be a President ALL Americans - White, Black, Red, Yellow, Brown - will be PROUD of. He Serves all...not just the deviant Leftist Haters.

Obama continues to be rude, petulant and childish. He is a Narcissist who deserves to be sent back to his Pot Farm in Hawaii where he can BONG his Brains out and do no more harm to America and her people.

We have to begin working hard to make a change in the Senate as well, and get more conservatives in the House. ObamaTax needs to be dismantled, dis-funded, revoked, and ended. Other measures that need to be taken to reverse this horrid trend in this country will require majorities in both the House and Senate. Americans, rise up!

What do we expect from the Muslim in Chief? He has bent over backward to help the Muslim Brotherhood and their goal is to wipe out Israel just like Iran has stated. The only reason we haven't had more trouble from Muslims in this country other than Major Hassan is that they are fairly inept at setting off bombs, ie the underwear bomber and the Times Square bomber. The President said we shouldn't jump to conclusions and Major Hassan was just workplace violence. This is while he was shouting Allah Akbar while firing his gun at innocent soldiers.

  • ireAmerica

    Mitt Romney is too professional to call out the Liar-in-Chief on every falsehood - a tactic called "giving him some more rope" - and Obama told some (more) real whoppers last night;

Obama certainly did go on an apology tour to the middle east (as everybody knows).
Obama by action and inaction gave Egypt and Libya to the Moslem Brotherhood.
Obama's "strategy" resulted in the Libya diplomatic mission attack and murders.
Obama by inaction and silence left Iran in the Islamic Regime's hands.
Obama has done jack about China's currency fraud and bad debts.
Obama has backed down to Russia.
Obama has done jack about Syria.
Obama's interference in our military forces has weakened them.
Obama's GM bailout ripped-off you and me and the GM bond holders to benefit the UAW.

Mitt Romney won last night's debate by letting Obama lie about his record, promise more government bloat, continue with "tax the rich" class warfare and propose a future that he (Obama) does not intend to, nor is capable of bringing about.

First country Obama visited on his apology tour was Egypt, look how that ended with the Muslim Brotherhood in power.

  • DavidE

My favorite part of the 3rd. debate was when Gov. Romney repeated what Obama said once he thought the mike was off but, caught on the microphone as saying to the Russian Diplomat, "I'll have more flexability after I win the election". Sounds like Obama has big plans and deals with Russia if he wins. This muslim lying pig cannot be trusted people. If Obama wins, the USA is finished!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

  • Samurai_Sam

I only watched half of the debate, got a little bored with BO's incessant lying! Apparently someone got to BO and told him that avoiding eye contact wasn't good for his image so in true Obama fashion he went overboard in his attempts to do so which only made him look even stupider than he really is. As hard as that is to imagine!

When it came to a duel of wits Obama came wielding a butter knife. Maybe now the fallacy of the great Obama IQ can finally be put to rest.

If nothing else lets all hope that at least Obama gets put out to pasture.

    • Chuck

If Obama has a great IQ, he left it at home. He is rude, undeciplend, and incapable of telling the truth.

      • Samurai_Sam

Last night during the debate Obama called Romney out and essentially called him a liar. Then he challenged the viewers to look up what Romney said about GM and the bailouts. I am sure that no liberal ever did look it up to try and verify Obama's statement because they are all lemmings and believe anything this slug tells them to believe. Well I looked it up and what Romney said during the debates and during the GM crisis is one and the same. You won't see this revealed by the media but I encourage everyone to do the same thing. Look it up. Just one more lie from the fraud in chief. Come on you libs start doing some research you might even learn something in time to save this country from another four disastorous Obama years.

  • Sam

Romney was masterful in this third debate. It would have been easy for him to become embroiled in a name calling spat over Libya, but he showed great restarant in his remarks and flustered the President no end. He was measured, strong, and decisive throughout and slammed the door shut on Obama's reelection plans.

  • jberry50

Romney knows he is dealing with the Liberal-simple-Homer Simpson minded people who are less than 50% of the people who vote. He is holding the lead and the line as the "wisdom-minded adult" on stage. Obama appears as the angry, 'leering' Liberal who constantly lies. Obama depends on his minions to believe his BS lies. The smarter Americans see through his lies by his actions and his failing record which speak LOUDER than his lying rhetoric. The socialists-marxists have replaced the democrats with themselves and are lying to normal democrats,so, "Democrats for Romney" are ALL voting for Romney!!!!

I think all conservatives wanted Romney to wipe the floor with the smirking Ba*tard but that could have backfired on us. No matter how sorry of a President Obummer is, Americans will not tolerate what they perceive as a bulling attack on the president or openly disrespect for the office. The Liberals are very good at creating false issues to harm Conservatives. I think our new future President was well aware of this and frustrated Obozo's attempts to score political points or a mistake on Mitt's part. Romney didn't need to hit a home run, Obummer did..........

  • thismustend

Nice spin but according to most polls the masses thought ObaMAO won. The McCain approach FAILED so why did Romney dust it off & bring it back? Willard got his arse handed to him in the third and final debate. I love the conservatives who claim their candidate won...it is cognitive dissonance on display.

In the third and final debate, Willard disavowed his necon advisors and flip flopped on his stated policy positions to agree with Obama on virtually every issue. And Obama called him on it.

So, I am wondering when did conservatives become supporters of candidates who flip flop on issues? In 2004, conservatives railed against Kerry for flip flopping...fast forward to 2012. and conservatives can't get enough of the flip flopping Willard Romney.
