Bullying Teacher Sued by Student’s Family

Last October, sixteen year old Samantha Pawlucy went to school wearing a pick Romney-Ryan t-shirt.  When she entered her geometry class at Charles Carroll High School in Philadelphia, her teacher Lynette Gaymon, who likened the t-shirt to the KKK:

“Approached Samantha with a red marker and attempted to mark over the shirt telling her that she couldn’t wear that shirt in an Obama school.  But Samantha would not let her do it.  Then the teacher told her to take off her shirt and she would give her another shirt to wear.  The whole time this was happening, the teacher kept berating Samantha about wearing a Romney shirt at an Obama school.”

“When Samantha refused to take off the t-shirt, the teacher ordered her out of the classroom and again Samantha stood her ground.  By the time the teacher finished her tirade, some of Samantha’s classmates joined in as did the school janitor.”

“Samantha was so embarrassed and humiliated that she is now afraid to return to the school as she has had threats from other students about her shirt.  Her parents are furious and went to the school to talk to the principal and teacher.  According to Samantha’s dad, Richard, the teacher half-heartedly apologized, tried to explain it was a joke and then stormed out of the principal’s office.”

Gaymon, who just happens to be black and an Obama supporter, was temporarily removed from the classroom at the time, but was soon back in the same classroom.  When Samantha returned to school several days later, she was met by some classmates that supported her and many who did not.  She continued to be harassed by fellow students at the school and even received threats on her Facebook page, but the school did nothing to stop any of it.  At one point her parents said that they were considering transferring Samantha to another school, but the reports have not said whether they did or not.

Now, Samantha’s parents have filed a federal lawsuit against Gaymon and the school for violating her First Amendment right of free speech and for not taking action to stop the bullying and harassment.  The lawsuit is asking for unspecified damages for the emotional distress that Samantha has had to endure because of the teacher’s actions which made her out to be a racist and the failure of the school to prevent further harassment.

Gaymon’s actions in defaming Samantha were typical of so many Obama supporters during the campaigns.  They didn’t care about anyone else’s rights or freedoms if that person opposed Obama.  There were many reported cases of First Amendment free speech rights being intentionally violated by the ardent supporters of Obama.  Sadly, the vast majority of those incidents were carried out by blacks against non-blacks.

I hope and pray that the Pawlucy family wins their case and that Gaymon and the school are forced to pay for their illegal and unconstitutional actions and this serves a warning to other teachers and school administrators.

  • James White, M.D.

This is going to be a chapter in my forthcoming book, "The Nation That Committed Suicide".

By the illusion of "compensating for errors of the past", (i.e., slavery; or more precisely, the transfer of the slave from the private plantation to the government plantation) have we trampled the very people who produced a vibrant nation of hard workers, and are in the process of trampling their children, those who would climb the ladder of American opportunity (that is a different thing than "guaranteed result", another chapter in my book) to the top of the skyscraper of life, by employing responsible study habits, hard work, Christian principles in setting examples for fellow man and worshiping the Almighty, and common sense to arrive at said destination.

Thus the land is (secretly, due to an absence of honorable press) is filled with angry black gangs, attacking "whitey" for enjoying his well-earned reward. This teacher-student interaction is a perfect example of the result of ignorance, anger, and the abandonment of God and Biblical truth in a failed society.

The ultimate common denominator of destruction is when people place faith in men--always doomed to failure--and abandon their faith in the Creator, the Granter of rights, the Means to salvation and the forgiveness of sin, the Savior, the God of all gods. Dominus vobiscum. Laus Deo.

With stained heart created by liberals.....I wish you a Happy New Year and extend this to all that post here with patriotic faith in God and Country.

      Read "HARBINGER" by Jonathan Cahn.

      Isaiah 9:10 (NIV)

10 “The bricks have fallen down,
      but we will rebuild with dressed stone;
the fig trees have been felled,
but we will replace them with cedars.”

James White, M.D....Great title for your book. I concur with your cogent assessment about our decadent and declining society. It's so true....when men reject God, they have no other recourse but to trust in themselves which invariably leads to their own extinction. Such is America.

I look forward to reading your book. Veritas Vincit. Omnia ad gloriam Dei

This is going to get settled---I can tell you that right now. But those who caused the real problem - her classmates - can't be collected from because presumably they have no income.

    • Screeminmeeme

      Adam Moreira..
What? Her classmates CAUSED the REAL problem? Ya gotta be kidding. That is an inexplicable statement in light of the fact that the teacher started the whole thing by denying this student her first amendment right to free speech and even tried to ruin the shirt by putting permanent marker on it. I hope they sue her liberal pants off...and hopefully she will also lose her job. SHE was a racist.

      Think about it.
A kid comes into class wearing an Obama/Biden T-shirt and the teacher tries to cross out the message with a permanent red marker...then tries to bully the kid into taking off the shirt. Betcha the incident would have been front page news for months...and the teacher, called a racist redneck, summarily fired.

Would your opinion be the same then ...that the kid's classmates started it all?

      • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

They were making fun of her for wearing the shirt constantly and were what forced her from that school. Now, you can make the case that the teacher was a proximate cause of this in failing to control the students, but if it were ONLY the teacher, a change of teachers would have been the solution. You can overcome a problem with a teacher by removing the teacher from that student. That said, I'm not buying the claim of racism, because it was not done based on race, which is a necessary element of racism.

On the "think about it"...same stance---the TEACHER should be disciplined, BUT it would end there if the students didn't exacerbate it. I see the classmates as the real reason forcing the transfer because they didn't let up.

        • Uptite

Why don't we stick to causation...why do libs like you always want to redirect the cause of the problem. This so-called teacher is to be a role-model, not a racist bully, with a personal agenda as her cause. She started a mini-war in her own class room, which ultimately had a trickle-down effect, don't dare blame the students. I am sure you know what "truth" is but your loonie thinking keeps you from focusing on the real issue. This teacher should be fired for her ignorance and lack of being a role model - that's ONE thing we're paying her to do and she failed miserably!

        • Screeminmeeme

Uptite... Absolutely agree. Blaming the kids was the usual smoke screen that the left uses to avoid that old bugaboo of responsibility.

        • Screeminmeeme

On the charge of racism: I believe the single biggest impetus for Obama's election to the presidency WAS based solely on race. Blacks finally saw a black man run for the highest office and regardless of his policies, voted for him with enthusiasm in each election. Whites saw it as a chance to relieve their white-angst and guilt, and casting their vote for him set them free of it.

This guy divided the country like no other politician. Black against white. Women against men. Rich against poor. Illegal immigrants against legals. Gays against straights.

He made outrageous promises...lied through his pearly whites....and still got re-elected. People just didn't give a damn. He was black...and that made everyone feel better. It ''proved'' they weren't racist like the conservatives who opposed him (on principle, and not on skin-color).

No one really cared one whit about his ideological bent or his policies and I believe that is true of this black teacher. I think she acted because of her commitment to support one of her own and didn't care about the white kid who wore the T-shirt in support for the evil rich, WHITE guy.

One wonders how things would have fallen had a black conservative run for the office.

        • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

I might believe that if not for the fact that no Democrat for President has lost the black vote since 1928 (even though Democrats only threw the doors open to blacks in 1924). Other factors not based in race include energizing the base.

Had a black conservative run for office, I suspect that, based on what happened in PA in 2006 when that situation happened, they'll still go for the Democrat as they did then.

        • Screeminmeeme

Adam...And that is the inexplicable thing to me. Why would blacks consistently support Democrats when it's been the Republicans, like Lincoln, who worked to outlaw slavery, and have fought for integration and equality while the Dems opposed it?

        • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

Because none of them, unless they're 55 or older, have really suffered harm at the hands of Democrats.

        • Screeminmeeme

Adam...You're saying that with a straight face? Ever been to Detroit? For decades its had only black, Democratic mayors and the place looks like the Bomb was dropped on it. No one works...crime is high. It's a hopeless place...yet they won't even consider electing someone with conservative values and policies that could turn things around.

And Detroit is just one of many places where Democrats, employing liberal policies, have brought cities to their knees.

        • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

With a straight face---and I have said this elsewhere as well that Republicans have to enter the belly of the beast to convert blacks. That said, if it were my call, I would start with NYC first, then the West Coast big urban areas, with Detroit (and Chicago) being well down the list.

This would be for the long haul; keep in mind that Obama won with a 50-state strategy, expanding the electoral map in the process. As for electing someone with conservative values, you cannot vote for a nonexistent candidate.

        • John Spencer

There's an answer for that, but it would be considered racist if I said it out loud.

  • http://profiles.google.com/mcgauley2010 Tim McGauley

Good for them. White people aren't second class citizens now just because the prez is black. It would seem that black people are the most racist of all!

    • Bravo Two Six

      Correct! And, Correct!

  • Uptite

How can wearing a Romney/Ryan be considered Racist, where is the connection? And why is it always a race issue if a white individual speaks out? If you ask me, the racist is this Teacher and if my child were in that School, after this incident, I would demand she be fired. this is just another example of how the loonie left won this election. Sue her for all you can get, maybe then the "Obama School" will fire this ignoramus!

    • http://twitter.com/chaotixjoe NamelessN00b

Do the words "They're gonna put you back in chains" ring a bell?

Thing is, it still isn't racist considering both parties are going to put all of us, regardless of color, back in chains.

      • Uptite

        You took that literally?

        • http://twitter.com/chaotixjoe NamelessN00b

          .....AND figuratively.

        • Uptite

          GO Figure...

    • Doodlebug

She should have been fired and now I hope this teacher loses in the courts and if she does, perhaps then she will be fired. You must realize Uptite that obummer expects all of us to bow to him! He is in for a big surprise as there are many of us who will refuse come hell or high water. God bless the USA.

      • Uptite

        Agree, on all fronts!

    • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

If you're going to claim racism---where is the racism? Racism has a strict objective definition, and it requires that race be the cause of this. While this is irresponsible on the part of the teacher, calling it racist is objectively incorrect.

Vis a vis the other post you made in response to me, I stand by blaming the students at least in part---if they had the maturity level of their grade level, they would not have made fun of her. As such, the students are a partial cause.

      • Uptite

You are that ignorant "her teacher Lynette Gaymon, who likened the t-shirt to the KKK" What do you suppose was her objection? It is so par for the course that you would point blame elsewhere, than you own dumb-dem silly-me mentality...You must be the Teacher?!?!

        • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

          Politics...plain and simple.

      • IRONSIDE

No it is objectively correct as she brought race into the entire mix. We all know the truth and her saying this is obama's school is her saying this is a black school and no pro-whitey agenda is permitted. Blacks are the most racist people out there and also the stupidest in that they can't get past the fact that voting themselves a check every month means at some point there is nothing left. Unfortunately, the majority, 80% when asked where is the money going to come from, say those now famous words, "It's Obama's money". Yeah right. We've got 10 percent of the blacks who helped build this country and understand what it means to have a good work ethic and accountability and you've got 10% like Farrakahn-nut jobs that deserve the final solution, and then there is the 80% who have had so many generations of iving off that monthly check there is no hope, other than to pray most are born sterile and let atrition take it's course. All my life I've been told not to to talk bad about black people and how guilty I should feel because I'm white. BS. IT's the 80% of black people sucking this country dry, it's the 80% of black people committing the crimes, pushing the drugs and through an inanae act of affirmative action, becoming the teacher in this classroom. I've been holding my tongue for 50 years. Now it's time to call a spade a spade.

  • martha chandler

I'm so glad they are suing, if we never take a stand and start fighting back, these liberals will never respect our rights as citizens of the US not the USSR.

  • b33chbum

I served as a poll watcher for the Jefferson County Republican Party in Port Arthur, TX. The blatant election fraud was rampant. I wrote a complaint to the County Clerk, a Democrat, and she did nothing. Now, the Democrat candidate for County Tax Assessor is trying to steal the election in the court system.

    • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 Adam Moreira

Video evidence of the voter fraud would really help advance a case; where does one start an investigation if there is just say-so?

      • Screeminmeeme

Adam Moreira....Yeah, right. Like video-taping what's going on in the polling place won't get you arrested.

  • madinillinois

The teacher should be personally "fined" and then "fired" from the school system, prohibited to never to work with children again. The school system, as they did nothing to protect this child from bullying by both adults & her peers, should also be heavily fined, with the Principle "demoted" and moved to another school district.

This behavior, by adults - regardless of their political beliefs - was completely un-exceptable and needs to be made an example to others...

  • Brama

And they say that the "right" is intolerant.

That school is NOT an Obam...a school... it is a school in the United States where free speech is a right, and where bullying is supposedly wrong..... except when it comes to bullying and silencing conservative ideals. The double-standard is blatantly apparent... especially if equal action isn't meted out in the same way that liberals have been offended and wronged.
