Gun Control, Hurricane Sandy Crooks, and the Benghazi Flu

The close of 2012 and beginning of the New Year contained enough appalling activity, aided and abetted by elected Republicans, to have warranted the suicide of old 2012 and kept 2013’s New Year baby desperately scrabbling to stay in the womb. The list is far too lengthy to itemize everything but here are some of the highlights:

  • Our Secretary of State’s case of Benghazi Flu, concussion and subsequent hospitalization for a “blood clot” situated in some undisclosed location of her carcass.
  • The anointing of John Kerry as her probable successor (another “thank you” will be due to Senator McCain very soon).
  • Congress voting to postpone the “fiscal cliff ‘by raising taxes across the board (surprise, surprise). The bill does not limit spending, provides billions of dollars in tax credits for the likes of Hollywood producers, Puerto Rico, rum companies, NASCAR, electric motorcycle companies and algae growers and ups the national debt by another $4 trillion (“Yea” votes for this pig’s breakfast included that of our intrepid fiscal hero and recent Vice Presidential nominee, Paul Ryan). Congress never read the bill. The Senate got the bill 3 minutes before voting on it. The Vacationer in Chief neglected to sign it, in a lather to get back to Hawaii this week…at a taxpayer cost of an additional $3 million. Well, what else are auto-pens for?
  • Next fiscal cliff? February 2013.
  • No demand for a budget.
  • Boehner is back.
  • A $60 billion dollar bill for hurricane Sandy…which includes beneficiaries like Alaskan fisheries.
  • An all-out attack on the second amendment. It is this item that may be the final nail in our coffin.

The Sandy Hook calamity led to a surprising response from Americans, nationwide. A recent Gallup poll stated that 74% of Americans want gun ownership to remain a right. According to the FBI, requests for background checks in order to qualify for gun ownership hit a new, record high in December, 2012 (2.8 million), up from the previous high in November, 2012 (2 million). The FBI further stated that the number of murders carried out by bladed or blunt weapons far outweigh those committed using firearms. Statistics continue to accumulate proving that gun ownership by law-abiding individuals inhibits crime, yet continue to be ignored by the media and the ruling class.

Hollywood celebutards are ridiculed for their hypocritical, PC stance on gun control when their on-screen presence glorifies irresponsible gun use. Interviews with Sandy Hook residents clearly put the blame where it should be: Not on gun ownership but on the insane. Recent problems in New York City illustrate this.  Two people, at last count, have been shoved under moving subway cars during the past week. What should be done about it? Prohibit subway transportation? Yet, Mayor-For-Life Bloomberg claims there’s nothing to see here. Why would a lunatic using a gun be different? California just experienced a “boom” in gun ownership and the result was that crime rates dropped.

Yet, despite America’s clearly expressed desire to have gun ownership left alone what do we get? Piers “he’s-your-problem-now” Morgan, CNN’s noted Constitutional expert by way of England, illegally deriding our Constitution and Napoleonic sports clown, Bob Costas, going off on a characteristically, ill-informed, anti-gun rant during a football game. Gun owners are “outed” in the press, hyper, liberal bleating and a Congress determined to squeeze more citizens’ rights out of existence. And this one is the Rosetta Stone of rights.

Senator Diane Feinstein wants yet another bill passed against gun ownership. She has, chillingly, stated that she wants all private gun ownership outlawed. The president said he is “going after guns” in 2013. And the Lyin’ King hasn’t even been sworn in yet.

If we continue to insist that liberal demands for gun control are merely a “difference of opinion” or are born of “good intentions” we will continue to miss the point. Liberals want power. All of it. If we continue to ignore this fact we are handing it to them. If we allow the second amendment to be circumvented, driven out of existence, we won’t need to ask “How will it all end?” It’s already over.

    Geez....Reading this cogent, end-of-the-year roundup of highlights of 2012, and the prophetic view that 2013 will be end of America as we know it could be a downer. There may be some who may be looking to end it all....but consider this:

    Razors pain you;
    Rivers are damp;
    Acids stain you;
    And drugs cause cramp.
    Guns aren't lawful;
    Nooses give;
    Gas smells awful;
    You might as well live. ~~~~Dorothy Parker

    Look at it this way: when you've hit rock bottom there's only one way...and it's up. We've hit rock bottom with a lying, Marxist President and a Congress without a shred of integrity. We just need to have a sense of humor and be positive about it all and keep working to excise the hemorrhoids from DC.

    What do you call a handcuffed politician? Trustworthy.

    Some politicians are alive only because it's illegal to kill them.

    Hear about the terrorist that hijacked a 747 full of politicians? He threatened to release one every hour if his demands weren't met.

    What do you call 25 politicians buried up to their chins in cement? Not enough cement.

    How are an apple and politicians alike? They both look good hanging from a tree.

    If a republican and a democrat were both drowning, and you could only save one of them......would you go to lunch or read the newspaper?

    What do you call skydiving politicians?~~~~Skeet.

    The problem with political jokes is they get elected. – Anonymous

      Speechless? That is unusual for you.

  • Doodlebug

    I think it is outrageous that we have started 2013 WITHOUT AN OUTCOME, truth etc. on the murder of our border agent and still no relief or help for bordering states. It's appalling that this joker just lets these things go as though they never happened. This administration continues to overlook this and what really happened at Benghanzi as though Americans, like him, don't care. Worst president ever? You _____ right!

    • rchguns

      doodlebug, I hate to tell you this but as long as this corrupt administration is in charge we will never get to the bottom of anything. Everyone is scared to death Of Dirty Diaper Head Obama and will do absolutely nothing to bringing the heel. Hillary Clinton what can you say just Clinton sees as crooked as the day is long and about as worthless as she is ugly. Then you have the crown prince Harry Reid who plays by his own rules and cares absolutely nothing about the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. He makes his rules as he goes along. The house in 23 bills the Senate and Reid set on all and never brought them up for a vote.

      Benghazi stop and consider the timeline. 1 the embassy requested additional security several times and were denied. 2 without security and with what security they did have at the suppose it's safe house those three Americans were ordered to do absolutely nothing to try to help the ambassador. 3 there was an unmanned drone in the airspace over the embassy while it was under attack, was that drone armed? Air support could have been brought in in under an hour but never was.
      The Big Question what did this ambassador do to make Obama angry enough to set him up to be killed. That's what happened this man was killed because of an action of his superiors and with full knowledge of his superiors. Accidents like this do not happen.

      • mogul264

        Is it possible that our Ambassador, with long association and dedication, actually knew exactly what was transpiring with the Islamo-terrorists and had told Hillary & her boss how bad things were there? And since this didn't jibe with Obama's public pronouncements of how things were proceeding, they wrote him off? I couldn't believe a leader would send someone out to die like that, then I remembered the Bible and King David and Bathsheba, and how David set up her husband to be killed! Now I wonder.............!

        • rchguns

          Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing that I would not put past this current administration. They have no concern for anyone or anything in Obama would sacrifice any number of individuals just to ensure that he stays in power. Obama will go down in history as the worst president in the history of the United States. And if Americans are not careful you'll also go down in history as the last president of the United States. I really fear that is his goal. The killing of her ambassador depended on so many random chances that it could not have been anything but a setup. We will probably not ever find out what her ambassador did to tick off The Dirty Diaper Head in the White House but whatever it was it got him killed as well as three others who try to come to his aid after being ordered not to.

  • Public_Citizen

    "An all-out attack on the second amendment."
    The word attack, whenever used in relation to the Second Amendment, needs to be replaced with the word ~~assault~~.
    The liberals have been allowed for too long to frame discussion by the use of certain words and catch phrases. We must start to use those same words and, whenever possible, phrases in refutation. By doing so we remove one of their key tools in swaying a low information public to support radical positions and legislation.

    • JOHN T. FOX

      AFRAID NOT. HOWEVER WE CAN PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR ONE TO HAVE AN EPITHANIE CONCERNING THAT. YOU CAN'T TELL OLD PEOPLE AND LIBS ANYTHING@! LIBS AREN'T ABLE TO LEARN AS A CONSERVATIVE DOES. CONSERVATIVES SEEK SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS. LIBS FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF A PROBLEM AND ONLY TAKE ACTIONS DESIGNED TO PERPETUATE OR WORSEN THE PROBLEM! THEY USE A CIRCULER THOUGHT PROCESS. CONSERVATIVES ARE LINEAR THINKERS AND THUS PROBLEM SOLVERS!

      • Public_Citizen

        First of all John T. Fox - - - stop yelling at people.
        Your keyboard has a [caps lock] key. Learn how to use it.
        Second. Any person who has successfully worked in advertising for any length of time will tell you that repetition is the key to getting your message across.
        By taking the libs "buzz words" and applying them in ways that libs don't like we remove the power of the word to sway the low information voter while making the liberals actually have to work harder as they now have to actually ~explain~ things instead of relying on gut level emotion to carry the argument.
        As for old people learning things, old people have had longer to learn that people who are ~yelling~ usually don't have anything to say worth listening to [unless they are stone deaf and can only hear somebody yelling right in their ear - special case circumstance].
        Old conservatives are some of the best learners. They've had a lifetime of learning how to listen and are usually pretty good at spotting the bandini patties when somebody tries to shovel them. They also know how to ask questions and keep the questionee on point.
        Old Liberals on the other hand suffer from calcification of the brain from lack of use. They can't tell coprolite from an unpolished gemstone. The only way they are capable of learning is when their reality check bounces, which doesn't happen often enough in our nanny state society.

  • Greggie

    Be great if the electoral college didn't confirm on 1/6/13. I believe if that were to happen, this might be the push to bring out the true colors of this administration. It will be clear even to the most indiscriminate individual, and would bring it all to a head. Then "we the people" can start rebuilding our great country again! Of course we can rebuild but only after the tyrants are brought to task for trying to destroy my country

    WHY AMERICA’S MORAL DAM IS BURSTING

    The moral dam burst that we are witnessing in America has been a long time in developing. At a fundamental level, it began in the 19th century with theological modernism and Darwinian evolution, in fact, but it was at work dramatically even in the 1950s which is often considered the hay-day of morality and biblical Christianity in modern America. I was growing up then and America was anything but biblically moral, even in the deep South where Baptist churches were on every corner. Independent Baptists barely existed then.

    It was the Southern Baptists who were considered the conservatives of the conservatives, yet they weren’t taking the Bible seriously. There was more a form of godliness than the true reality thereof. Kids typically went through the motions of “trusting Jesus” without a genuine conversion experience and without being true disciples of Christ, and then lived as they pleased and drank as deeply of the oncoming pop culture as they wished. It was even expected that church kids would “sow their wild oats.” The humanistic philosophy was that parents shouldn’t be too “strict or tight-laced.”

    When rock & roll blasted on the scene, there was some resistance by the elders, but it was party time for the church kids and it wasn’t long before the parents were rocking, too! When television and Hollywood foisted their wares on society, the U.S. churches pretty much accepted what was offered, except for the most extreme stuff, walking lock step with the world. They fussed about the moral pollution, but they stayed tuned in, nonetheless, which is a major form of soul-deadening hypocrisy. It was a Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Disney kind of Christianity...

    A major thing that was missing from “conservative” American Christianity in the 1950s and 1960s was the obedience to biblical separation. In fact, it was publicly and brashly renounced by major “evangelicals.” But when God’s people are the “friends of the world” they are the enemies of Christ (James 4:4), and there is no power and blessing in that path. The deep compromise that flowed from the churches effected the entire nation. For a long, long time, America’s morals have been leavened by the licentious end-time philosophy (2 Timothy 3-4) promoted through the government school system, the pop-entertainment culture, the mainstream news media, judicial activism, and in many other ways.

    This event has been just great for my gun collection investments . I've made a 500-600% return by recently selling my PSL, AR-15 and SLS that I purchased a couple of years ago. Now if I can get a really good buy on some used Russian Rocket Launcher with a fleet of MIG's, and we have a civil war against a government who wants to take away our freedom, I could really make some easy money. War is good for the economy.
