I’ve often claimed that ACLU stood for Anti-Constitution Lawyers Association and their latest actions only reinforce my claim.
It is being reported that the ACLU is about to ask a federal court to order religious groups to pay for abortions for illegal aliens who become pregnant due to rape. To accomplish their goal, the ACLU is asking a court to instruct the US government to turn over all documents that are related to their contracts with religious organizations that provide relief and assistance for illegal aliens.
According to the ACLU, 60% to 80% of all illegal women and girls are sexually assaulted. Therefore, the religious groups that offer any other help to illegals should be forced to pay to abort every baby that’s a result of being sexually abused and raped.
In addition to the mandated abortions, the ACLU wants to force the religious organizations that have contracts with the federal government to provide free or subsidized contraception to underage illegal girls.
Brigitte Amiri, an attorney with the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project, stated:
“Many unaccompanied teenagers come into the U.S. fleeing abuse and torture in their home countries. Many have been sexually abused or assaulted or forced into prostitution.”
In other words, many of the rapes and sexual abuses of these illegal women and girls occurred before they illegally entered the United States. If that is true, then why should anyone or any organization, religious, private or governmental, be forced to pay the abortions?
It’s typical of the ACLU, also called the Anti-Christian Lawyers Union, to want to force religious groups to go against their faith to provide abortions to illegals. Obama and his fellow Democrats fully support forcing Christian employers to violate their faith with the contraception mandate and forcing them to cater to same-sex ceremonies.
However, federal immigration laws dictate that every illegal should be arrested, processed and deported back to their own country. I read that one of the problems is that some countries don’t want them back and refuse to take them, but since they are here illegally, it should not be up to the other countries. I firmly believe that EVERY illegal should be deported and that the US should bill each country for the costs involved in the arrests, processing and deportation. Once they realize just how much it’s costing them, then perhaps they will take stronger measures on their side of the border to keep their people home.
In addition to the deportation of every illegal, I firmly believe that we need to station our military personnel along the nearly 2,000 mile border with orders to stop any and all illegal border crossing and drug trafficking with whatever force is necessary. Provide them with all of the high tech equipment they need to secure the border, day and night, in the air, on the ground and even underground.
I guarantee you that it will make a huge positive impact in our economy and job market. More Americans will find jobs, be able to provide for their families and probably be able to get off of government assistance. This will also spur more spending on the part of the American people which will provide a boost for most industries. More importantly, religious organizations would not be forced to violate their faith as protected by the First Amendment.
