Administration’s Naive ‘New Kids’ Ready to Give Iran What It Wants

The Obama Administration has blinders on when it comes to Muslim extremists, at the best of times.

A less forgiving description would be of an Administration that is in outright collusion with the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists to reshape the Middle East into some species of reincarnated Ottoman Empire.

The arrival of John Kerry at the State Department, and the possible approval of Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense, signals a new high in Administration naivete.

Already, the Administration has signaled willingness to have direct talks with Iran about its nuclear weapons program.

Kerry’s ego is a perfect fit for this Administration, which has been shaped top to bottom by the Man Who Would Be King’s narcissistic personality. Kerry has never shown any sense of awareness of other people’s personalities, goals or ambitions beyond those that fit his political agenda.

Critics fear Hagel’s passionate dislike for Israel makes him inclined toward letting Muslim countries get away with murder.

Former ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton recently expressed his concerns over Kerry’s ego. “I’m very worried with the new Secretary of State John Kerry and with a potential new Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel that these new kids on the block are going to say, ‘We can do better than everybody’s done before,'” Bolton said. “‘We know how to deal with the Iranian leadership and we’re going to negotiate something on the nuclear weapons program.”

That notion of being able to do better than anyone else is what drives the Administration’s foreign policy, so it’s not likely to change any time soon.

That’s a huge problem because while the Administration’s focus is on winning accolades for its boss, the Iranian government has continued developing its missile program in cooperation with North Korea, which is working on creating reliable multi-stage missiles perfect for delivering a nuclear device.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would be more than happy to take advantage of Kerry’s misplaced faith by giving him some headlines-making “concessions” if it meant buying more time to develop the nuclear bomb program.

The Administration is more than ready to play into Ahmadinejad’s hands.
