The failures of the Obama administration continue to pile up, don’t they. In yet another stunning turn of events, the nation of Yemen, which was being hailed by the Obama administration as a success story just 6 short months ago, is now on the verge of becoming a new Syria.
Listen to what NBC’s Richard Engel had to say on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Monday morning.
This is a dramatic and very much unwelcome twist for the Obama administration, which has no foreign policy achievement on which to hang their hat. In fact, the situation in Yemen can be partially attributed to the administration’s horrible foreign policy philosophy and their fabulously bad decision-making.

NBC’s Chuck Todd also discussed the matter on Sunday’s episode of Meet the Press.
“We start with Yemen a country once touted as a success in America’s counter-terrorism by President Obama is spinning out of control. Yesterday special forces were withdrawn as Iranian backed Shiite rebels pushed south today seizing the third biggest city Taiz. Yemen’s president has been kicked out of the capital holed up in the south in January, is now appealing for intervention from the United Nations and emergency meeting of the security council will be held this afternoon.”
We’ve reached the point where we can honestly say that the Obama Presidency has been a disaster for American foreign policy. However, the Obama years have been great for our enemies – specifically Iran, Al Qaeda and ISIS. Knowing that, I think it’s fair to ask, ‘Whose side is President Obama on?’
