Bloomberg’s Anti-Gun Hollywood Hypocrites

There is no secret that multi-billionaire Michael Bloomberg, 10th richest person in the United States and Mayor of New York City, is one of the most anti-gun people in the nation.  On numerous occasions he has publicly stated that no private citizen should own any kind of firearm whatsoever.  He doesn’t believe in hunting or any form of target or sport shooting.  To Bloomberg, guns kill!  Not people, the guns do it themselves.  The guns force people to shoot other people, not the other way around.

In response to the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Bloomberg and his group of radical mayors (Mayors Against Illegal Guns – which is a misnomer and should read Mayors Against All Guns), produced a video titled Demand A Plan to End Gun Violence.  The video tapped a multitude of Hollywood celebrities to speak out against gun violence.

Watching the Bloomberg video, you would think that all of these actors and actresses hate guns and abhor violence.  However, someone identified as ma5one revealed the hypocrisy behind the Hollywood stars involved in the video.  They took Bloomberg’s video and inserted clips from scenes involving the actor and actresses.  Their version of the video is Demand a Plan? Demand Celebrities Go………..(Clean Version).

I believe this second video speaks volumes to the liberal hypocrisy of the stars that Bloomberg tapped for his anti-gun and anti-violence video.  See for yourself:

Notice how so many of the anti-violence celebrities are making a living by acting in violent movies.  Their actions on the silver screens of America portray the very thing that they claim to be against in Bloomberg’s video.  Remember the old clichés: actions speak louder than words and a picture is worth a thousand words?  The best response to Bloomberg’s celebrities that I can think of is the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:3-5:

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
