One burglar got more than he hoped for when he attempted to rob a Taco Bell, only to find armed employees. So much for an easy robbery!
The story you are about to read is real life proof of why everyone needs to carry for self defense. You never know when you will need to exercise your 2nd amendment rights, even if you are at work.
On Wednesday, a would-be robber was shot and killed by Taco Bell employees who were armed, in Cleveland.
Police responded to the store in the city’s Edgewater neighborhood shortly before 3 a.m. and found the suspect suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
Investigators say five Taco Bell employees were in the store when the suspects came in wearing masks and ordered them to get on the ground. Three of the employees opened fire, striking the suspect.
In a statement, Taco Bell said the company was offering counseling to the restaurant workers and was cooperating with the investigation.
No arrests have been made yet, and there was reportedly another suspect who fled the scene.
As I said above, it is so important to carry. Those employees’ decision to carry very likely determined whether they were going to walk out of work alive or not, and they did. Things could have been worse if they had not been armed. They would have been robbed and even harmed or killed.
This also sends a loud message to anyone else in that area who might have a harebrained idea to try to sack the place: The employees carry and they will shoot!
