How can Antarctica have Record Sea Ice with Global Warming?

I’m going to say this right up front that global warming is nothing more than the ploy of progressives to help usher in a one world government!

Call me what you want, I’ve been studying the underlying politics behind global warming for several decades. In the 1960s global leaders determined that war or nuclear annihilation were not enough to unite the world’s countries enough to form a one world government and economy. The only topic that they could agree upon was the environment.

From that time on, there has been a huge push for global environmental disasters with which to unite all countries. Issues like air pollution, acid raid, water and ocean pollution, depletion of fossil fuels and the cutting down of rainforests have all surfaced since the early 1960s.

However none of these created environmental disasters have worked for the political ends they were intended for. Progressives have had to come up with something more global, more disastrous and more unifying and the current selection is global warming and the threat of flooding coastal cities all over the earth. Frankly, the thought of some coastal cities being permanently flooded out is not that bad of a thing, but I won’t name which ones I was thinking of.

In the last couple decades, there have been all kinds of reports of how glaciers and sea ice around the globe have been melting and how ocean levels have been steadily rising. But few of these reports consider the evidence that the earth has regularly gone through temperature cycles of heating up and cooling down. It’s part of a dynamic earth that is constantly changing and there is nothing that humans can do to stop or change those cycles.

Rather than go into tons of data to prove that global warming is a myth, allow me to ask one simple question: If global warming was real and all of the sea ice is melting at record levels, then why is there a record amount of sea ice surrounding Antarctica? Shouldn’t it all be melting away?

The data shows just the opposite. In fact, studies show that the southern sea ice has been steadily increasing since 1979 which is around the time that a lot of the hype of global warming did start heating up.

Harold Ambler, a well published environmentalist posted:

“Antarctic sea ice has hit its second all-time record maximum this week. The new record is 2.112 million square kilometers above normal. Until the weekend just past, the previous record had been 1.840 million square kilometers above normal, a mark hit on December 20, 2007.”

In another post, Ambler wrote:

“The new Antarctic record anomaly was more than 10 percent greater than the previous record.”

“The steady growth of Antarctic sea ice and its influence on global sea ice appeared to provide a public relations problem, at a minimum, for those warning of global warming’s menace. According to Meier and some other climatologists, global sea ice area is simply not a metric to consider when examining the climate system.”

“‘A plot of global sea ice is just not informative or useful,’ Meier said.”

“Global sea ice, during the course of the last year and a half, has seen its most robust 18-month period of the last 13 years, maintaining, on average, a positive anomaly for an 18-month period for the first time since 2001.”

Interestingly, when Ambler questions global warming advocates about the increased southern sea ice, they try to blame it on global warming, but none of the explanations for the mechanisms behind it make any sense.

So just ask yourself these questions:

How can you account for the record increases in sea ice surrounding Antarctica if global warming was real?

What mechanism of global warming satisfactorily explains the abundance of sea ice?

If sea ice is melting as a sign of global warming, then what does the increase in southern sea ice really tell us?
