Fake News! Trump Slams Media for Lie About ‘2nd Meeting’ with Putin

President Donald Trump is fed up with the mainstream media and their tendency to be fake news as they run with fabricated lies…..and the rest of America is tired of it too!

Trump slammed the media for putting out fake news stories about a second meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 Summit. He did not have a second “meeting” with Putin but rather attended a dinner in which all the leaders were invited and the two merely spoke while at the dinner; through a Russian translator of course.

The best part? It was KNOWN by the media that this dinner was taking place. So why are they trying to spin a web of lies about it now? Perhaps they wanted to see how much damage they could do until someone said something.

President Trump said, “Even a dinner arranged for top 20 leaders in Germany is made to look sinister.”

A White House spokesperson did confirm that a brief conversation between Trump and Putin did occur during dinner.

Fox News Politics reports:

First lady Melania Trump was seated next to Putin, and the president approached Putin at the end of the night, the official said. They spoke through a Russian translator.

The administration official pushed back against the interaction being characterized as a “meeting.”

“There was no ‘second meeting’ between President Trump and President Putin, just a brief conversation at the end of a dinner,” the official said. “The insinuation that the White House has tried to ‘hide’ a second meeting is false, malicious and absurd.”

The official added: “It is not merely perfectly normal, it is part of a president’s duties, to interact with world leaders.”

Their first G-20 encounter, on July 7, lasted more than two hours. Trump later said he pressed the Russian president during that meeting about whether his government attempted to meddle in the 2016 presidential election.

Details of their conversation are unclear, but I don’t really think that is our business to know. Trump was just doing his job and being friendly, and mingling around the room.
