Ft. Hood Terrorist Still Drawing Full Pay 3 ½ Years Later Thanks to Obama

On Nov. 5, 2009, Army Major Nidal Hasan went on a shooting spree at Fort Hood, Texas where he was stationed.  Witnesses said he was making Islamic statements as he shot one serviceman/woman after another.  By the time Hasan was taken into custody, he had killed 13 people and wounded 32 others.

His guilt is not a question as he was caught in the act.  Those at the scene believed Hasan’s attack was an act of Islamic terrorism.  Subsequent investigations revealed that he was against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Instead of treating him like the terrorist he was, the Obama administration pushed the Pentagon to declare Hasan’s shootings were an act of workplace violence and not a terrorist act.  He was arrested and treated like any other person accused of murder.

Three and half years later, he still has not been tried for his murderous rampage.  As an active military personnel who has not yet been found guilty of a crime, Hasan continues to collect his full salary as an Army major.  Since the shooting, he has earned $278,000.

If Hasan had been charged with an act of terrorism, he would certainly have been tried and convicted long ago, ending the collection of his pay, and saving taxpayers thousands of dollars.

Not only does this not make sense, but by ruling the shooting as an act of workplace violence and not an act of terrorism, none of the victims are entitled to a Purple Heart.  Additionally, those troops wounded in the shooting do not have the same full access to medical care or financial benefits had it been an act of terrorism which would have classified their injuries as combat related.

Many of the wounded and their families believed that the Pentagon ruled the incident as workplace violence deliberately to save money by denying them their deserved benefits.  However, if that were true, what about the quarter million dollars that Hasan has been paid since the shooting and will continue to receive until he is finally found guilty.

So what is the real reason behind the ruling of workplace violence and not an act of terrorism?  I can only think of one thing and that is President Barack Hussein Obama doing his best to down play Hasan’s actions to protect the Muslim religion.  Obama was protecting his religion from what could have been certain retribution by some.  Our president would rather deny servicemen and women their deserved benefits for the sake of Islam here in the US.

Personally, I believe that this should be added to the long list of treasonous charges that Obama should be facing.  I just wish we had a politician with the courage to stand up and make the charges that we all know he’s guilty of.
