“Don’t touch that!” “You’ll put your eye out!”
That’s the sort of thing moms are supposed to tell their little children. It’s an important task because it helps children learn to avoid danger and helps instill something called “common sense” in adults.
Google thinks your mom did a cruddy job of raising you and that you are incapable of making intelligent decisions for yourself.
That’s why, starting in September, Google will ban ads for guns, ammo and accessories.
Google says it wants “to keep people safe both online and offline, so [they] won’t allow the promotion of some products or services that cause damage, harm, or injury.”
The ban will cover not only guns but “functional devices that appear to discharge a projectile at high velocity, whether for sport, self-defense, or combat.” That means crossbows, throwing stars, knives and, for some reason, brass knuckles.
Firearms resulted in more than 8,800 murders in 2012, according to FBI statistics.
But since Google is trying to play mommy for all Americans and won’t allow promotion of “products and services that cause damage, harm or injury,” there’s at least one other service that fits the Google criteria, that is immensely more deadly than guns and whose ads should also be banned — that’s Planned Parenthood and other so-called family planning clinics.
Planned Parenthood is far more dangerous than guns. Every year, there are approximately 1.2 million abortions in America, making abortion clinics 136 times deadlier on an annual basis than all the guns in the United States.
Planned Parenthood’s primary product — abortion — is clearly designed to kill. The very word “abortion” means to end the condition of pregnancy which an unborn child is dependent upon to live.
Unlike a gun, which can be used “for sport, self-defense or combat,” abortion has only one purpose, to kill a child in particularly gruesome ways, ranging from burning with toxic chemicals to chopping up with a flexible cutting wire and vacuuming into a trash can. One method even rips the brain out of the head of a child who could survive outside the womb. Some methods have been known to fail to kill the child, who is typically simply left to die on a table, a condition that used to be called death by exposure.
Abortion is not a safe procedure for the women involved, either. Women undergoing abortions are four times as likely to die in the following year as women who carry their pregnancies to term. Women who had an abortion in the previous year are seven times as likely to commit suicide as women who carry a pregnancy to term. An abortion can also lead to death by hemorrhage, infection, embolism, anesthesia and undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy.
Two studies in Denmark that looked at the countries entire population of women found that the risk of suicide increases with each successive abortion, and the increased likelihood of suicide occurred in each of the 10 years after an abortion that were part of the study.
There are also long-term medical risks, particularly infertility.
Abortion services are deliberately misrepresented to the public as “family planning,” when in fact, the only “family planning” actually done at most clinics involves methods of not having a family. The characterization of abortion supporters as “pro-choice” is also a deliberate misrepresentation since the child gets no choice in the matter and is treated as a mere lump of cancerous tissue rather than a human being. The entire business relies upon glossing over the fact that clearly the time to be making a “choice” to have a child is before creating another human life.
Statistics consistently show that abortions are disproportionately performed on black and Latino babies. This is by design. It was the intent of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger to “improve” the human race by preventing brown-skinned people and anyone who was poor from reproducing. This sort of notion is called eugenics. It is the same thing Hitler did in the Holocaust, killing 11 million people, 6 million of them Jewish. Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers have killed an estimated 56.6 million children since 1973, far outdoing one of history’s most notorious mass murderers. An estimated 13 million or more, nearly a quarter, of all abortions are of black babies. Using standard liberal logic, abortion is clearly a racist product tooled for a black genocide.
So if Google wants to be everybody’s mommy and keep everyone safe from products and services that injure or kill, then it can start by taking up the effort to honor mothers and contribute to the fight against abortion by banning ads from family planning clinics, one of the most murderous and racist institutions around.
To do otherwise would just be hypocrisy.
