If Obama Wins Who Will He Blame This Time?

Since before the 2008 election, Obama continually pointed the wicked finger of fault at President George W. Bush.  The economy was blamed on Bush.  The job market crash was blamed on Bush.  The collapse of the housing market was blamed on Bush.  Everything was Bush’s fault, according to Barack Obama.

Just a quick caveat here to say that the actual collapse of the housing market was the result of Bill Clinton’s creative mortgage scheme to make millions of Americans able to afford buying a home.  He ordered the mortgage industry to get creative and they did.  Three to five years later, millions of Americans that bought into the creative mortgage loans discovered that their mortgage payments were increasing beyond their capability to pay.  The result was a sudden increase in foreclosures and bankruptcies, which toppled the booming housing market over the edge.  As the housing market crashed and millions of Americans were filing bankruptcy, it set off a domino effect that toppled one sector of the nation’s economy after another.  All of this was Bill Clinton’s fault, but it started to happen during George Bush’s administration, so Democrats like Obama are quick to point the finger at Bush instead of Clinton.

Four years later, Obama has been in the White House and promised to turn things around.  During the past four years, he’s still pointing fingers at Bush and the GOP controlled House, when in reality it’s his own failed policies that have dug America’s grave deeper and deeper.

Obama promised to create 5 million new green jobs.  All he has done is to waste billions of dollars on nearly a dozen green energy projects that have lost jobs.  There are more Americans out of work now than when Obama took office.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

Obama promised to cut the national debt in half.  Instead, he has added $6 trillion of debt, far more than any five presidents combined.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

He promised that he would not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 per year.  Obamacare will be implementing over a dozen new taxes that will be hitting everyone in the U.S.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

He promised to cut healthcare costs by over $2,000 a year per family, but Obamacare has resulted in an increase cost of nearly $2,500 a year per family.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

He promised more access to medical care under Obamacare, yet many doctors and hospitals have reduced access because of their cost increases under Obamacare.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

He promised that he would expand Medicare coverage to provide more people with access to the program and he did.  However, with his restructuring of Medicare’s payment system, many doctors and hospitals are no longer accepting Medicare patients.  The end result is that they will have less access to medical care than they had before.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

He promised to improve America’s energy situation and make us self-sufficient so we would not have to rely on foreign oil.  He has prevented a number of oil drilling leases from being granted.  He has blocked the Keystone XL Pipeline project.  He has blocked drilling for oil on the North Slope of Alaska.  He has waged war on the coal industry forcing some coal mines to shut down and lay off workers.   Gasoline prices have nearly tripled since Obama took office.  He has wasted billions of dollars on numerous failed green energy projects.

If he gets re-elected, who is he going to blame for this?

It reminds me of a t-shirt I recently saw that had a picture of President George W. Bush with the caption:

“Poor Obama.  If he is elected for a second term, just think of the mess he will inherit.”

I think the shirt says it all.
