Is the Bill of Rights Expendable?

When our Founding Fathers established the US Constitution, they realized the need to spell out certain rights not specified in the Constitution, so they penned ten amendments to be ratified and attached to the governing document of the newly formed nation.

For two centuries, the ten amendments, known as the Bill of Rights were considered unbreakable and were rigorously defended by our political leaders and the courts.

But that has all changed in today’s liberal America.

  • Obama has no problem openly violating the First Amendment right to the freedom of religion and the exercise of one’s religion.
  • Obama has no problem violating the Second Amendment right to own and bear firearms.
  • Obama has no problem violating the Fourth Amendment right to be secure in their homes, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures.
  • Obama has no problem violating the Tenth Amendment right that gives States the authority over the federal government, unless those that the States granted to the federal government.

Obama’s open violation of the Bill of Rights goes hand in hand with his frequent violations of the US Constitution and multiple federal laws. Yet no one seems to be willing to do anything to legally stop him from his lawlessness.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is no better than Obama in her constitutional violations. She also supports violating many of the same Amendments as Obama.

Yet, both Clinton and Obama have been quick and loud to denounce Donald Trump’s stance against Muslims, claiming that he would be violating their First Amendment right to freedom of religion. Neither Obama nor Clinton have ever defended the religious rights of Christians. In fact they both have no problem forcing Christians to violate their faith. But when it comes to Muslims, they will go out of their way to wave the First Amendment in everyone’s face and use it to not just defend Muslims but grant them special privileges they refuse to grant to Christians.

With the new Star Wars movie coming out, I can’t but saying that with Obama and Clinton, ‘the hypocrisy is strong with these two.’

The underlying question to all of this is whether or not the Bill of Rights is expendable? When the political leaders and candidates are willing to violate the Bill of Rights to support their own personal agenda, it seems the Bill of Rights is expendable. The precedent has now been set to allow violations of the Bill of Rights and US Constitution without fear of prosecution. Any good defense attorney can point to the many violations committed by Obama and others to defend anyone charged with committing the same crimes. Our leaders are supposed to set an example for the rest of us and the example being set is one that leads to anarchy and the total collapse America.
