For the past few months the liberal media has been covering the hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing Syria and other Middle East countries being ripped apart by civil war and Islamic terrorism. In Syria there are two wars waging, one by Syrian rebels and another by ISIS.
We’ve watched as the refugees flee from one country to the next trying to find a safe place to live. Hungary, Slovenia and other countries along their route have been trying to stop the flood of refugees entering their countries. Some are now providing transportation through their country to the next border, but have made it clear the refugees are not welcome to stay.
But not to worry, Secretary of State John Kerry just announced that the US will open its doors to 85,000 refugees in 2016, 10,000 of which will be Syrian. That figure will increase to 100,000 by 2017 and if given the chance that figure could go even higher.
Over the weekend, Kerry joined Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Foreign Minister of Germany in a press conference. Kerry stated:
“This step that I am announcing today I believe is in keeping with the best tradition of America as a land of second chances and a beacon of hope, and it will be accompanied by additional financial contributions to the humanitarian effort not only from our government but from the American people. And that will become more specific in the next days.”
“If it’s possible to do more, we’ll do. One of the reasons it’s difficult is that post-Sept. 11, we have new laws and new requirements with respect to security background checks and vetting, so it takes longer than one would like and we cannot cut corners with respect to those security requirements.”
If our government uses the same policies and lack of screening that has allowed nearly 20 million illegals into our country, then the risk of allowing ISIS terrorists into the US becomes greater. There is already overwhelming evidence that Muslims have been illegally crossing our southern border and going who knows where in the US, yet the State Department and Department of Homeland Security have done nothing about it. No one knows if those Muslims are terrorists or not, but is the risk worth it?
Consider the facts that some reports indicate that ISIS is earning millions of dollars through various enterprises. With that kind of money, it would be easy for them to create thousands of fake ID’s for their members who then join the throng of refugees to gain access to the US and other European countries.
In every refugee report I’ve seen on the news, it’s obvious that they are not all families. There are a significant percentage of the refugees that are lone males with no families. It only makes sense for anyone with the slightest intelligence to suspect that ISIS would send undercover members among the refugees to help spread their reign of terror in Europe and the United States.
Based on the actions of our government to date, the fear of ISIS terrorists hiding among the refugees being welcomed into the US is great.
