The number one thing America needs more than anything else is jobs. If we can get people back to working, it would spur the economy and things would definitely turn around.
At a time when jobs are the number one priority, you would expect the President and congressional leaders to be turning to top job creators for help and advice. You would think that would be the logical choice, but not for President Barack Obama and his Democratic colleagues. Instead of turning to them for help, Obama has waged class warfare against them. He has done everything in his power to villainize the people who are successful job creators. The result is that many of these wealthy business people are afraid to do anything to create more jobs because they don’t trust what kind of crazy law or regulation Obama will do next.
Case in point is Steven Wynn, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Wynn Resorts. Wynn is a self-made billionaire. In 1963, just before he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, his father died, leaving Wynn and family with $350,000 in gaming debts. He took over the family business and began little by little to invest in other businesses, growing his family business and wealth. Wynn had a large part in the redevelopment of the Las Vegas Strip in the 1990s. His companies helped rebuild and refurbish The Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Golden Nugget and Encore resorts and casinos.
Wynn is listed as one of the 500 richest people in the world and has a net worth of around $2.5 billion. He is definitely one of the top 1% that Obama and the Occupiers blame for the mess we are all in right now.
Before you villainize Steve Wynn, let’s take another look at him. Through all of his business ventures and developments, he claims to have created 250,000 jobs, which he says is backed up by the State of Nevada. Wynn also says that it’s 250,000 more jobs than Obama has created.
In a recent interview with Jon Ralston, of Ralston Reports on an NBC affiliate news channel in Nevada, Wynn said that he and other businessmen like himself are sitting on their money rather than creating more jobs because they are afraid of Obama and what he might do next. Wynn explains in the interview how he has a business deal in the works that would create around 10,000 jobs, but the entire project is on hold because of Obama and his anti-business mentality:
“I’m afraid of the president. I have no idea what goofy idea, what crazy, anti-business program this administration will come up. I have no idea. And I have to tell you, Jon, that every business guy I know in the country is frightened of Barack Obama and the way he thinks.”
When you listen to successful business people like Steve Wynn and Mitt Romney, you can’t help but wonder if Obama is purposely trying to ruin the economy or if he just that stupid when it comes to the economy and jobs. One thing is for sure, America cannot afford four more years of Obama’s ‘goofy ideas’ and economy busting policies.
