On Monday, Barack Obama attended a campaign fundraising event hosted by Blackstone’s chief operating officer Hamilton E James. According to Blackstone’s webpage,
“We operate one of the world’s largest private equity fund businesses.”
“Blackstone is a premier global investment and advisory firm that strives to provide solutions that create lasting value for our investors, the companies in which we invest and society at large…Our portfolio companies employ over 700,000 people across the globe, making us a major factor in economies around the world. If our portfolio holdings and transactions were combined into a single company, it would rank as the equivalent of number 7 on the Fortune 500.”
While Obama was holding out his ‘I want your money’ hand to the private equity business world, his campaign was launching a new ad that attacked Mitt Romney’s record of when he worked for Bain Capital. And what does Bain Capital do? They do pretty much the same thing that Blackstone does – private equity. By condemning Romney for working in the private equity world he is condemning the entire private equity business world as well.
So let me get this straight, Obama condemns Romney for working in the private equity world at the same time he asks the same industry for money for his campaign. Folks, this is an example of a person that has no moral sense of value or decency for anyone else. His obvious hypocrisy should be a wake up call to all of his supporters as he really doesn’t care about them either, as so many of his socialist policies have proven. Obama has no problem taking your money with one hand while he holds a knife in the other with which he is about to plunge into your back.
