Obama Too Busy Trying to Save His Job Than to Actually Do His Job

Dozens of world leaders are gathered at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.  In years past, the President of the United States would take the opportunity to meet with a number of these world leaders to discuss important international matters.

However, Barack Obama is too busy with campaigning for a second term to take advantage of the situation to meet with any of the visiting world leaders.  He had planned to meet with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, but that meeting has now been cancelled.  Some have said the meeting was cancelled because of the flack Obama has received for meeting with Morsi and refusing to meet with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

I believe the answer to that criticism was clearly made when Barack and Michelle Obama appeared on the daytime talk show The View.  When asked what he would do after his presidency, Obama responded with a campaign pitch about putting people back to work and seeing that schools were ‘up to snuff.’

Yesterday, Obama was in New York City to address the United Nations General Assembly, but then had to speed away to his next campaign stop.  Instead, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is meeting with a number of the world leaders.  She is doing the president’s job because he’s too busy trying to save his job than to actually do his job.

But then again, Obama really has never done his job, has he?

He hasn’t served the majority of the American people since taking office.  Every national poll taken on issues like Obamacare, stimulus packages, foreign policy, showed the American people were against what Obama was doing, but he did it anyway.  His entire term as president has been nothing more than a personal grasp at all of the power he can get and I’m afraid that if he is re-elected, he’ll grab all the power that’s left to grab.
