Ants have got to be one of the most bothersome insects in the world. They invade our picnics, yards, gardens and homes. Their bites and stings can be very painful. But there is one characteristic of ants that reminds me of what Barack Obama is trying to do to Americans.
Ants do not act on their own as individuals. They operate as a social community for the good of that community, even if it means sacrificing their lives for that social good. Watch the video below and notice how the narrator describes their sense of community.
That ant city was amazing and showed that working together as a community, they can accomplish great things. Nothing is done individually or for the individual. Everything in an ant community is done for the common good of all.
Gee, does that sound familiar? Is there anyone you know of lately that has talked about community and the common good? I’ve heard Obama use the terms community and common good on numerous occasions and this important as it shows what his views on government and society are.
Community and common good are favorite terms of socialists. Like ants, they want everything to be geared toward the common good of the community. Individualism is a bane to socialists as that places the welfare of the person ahead of the welfare of the community.
Why do you think Obama has done so much to hinder small businesses in America? As long as the main economic driving force in the country comes from small businesses, his socialistic policies won’t work. Raising taxes on everyone making $250,000 a year is not solely designed to increase federal revenue and lower the deficit. It’s also designed to hurt the wallets of small businesses across the nation. So many of them are already operating on a shoe-string budget that such an increase in taxes just may be sufficient enough to force a number of them to close their doors.
Now add to that the increased costs that Obamacare will have on small businesses and even more of them will have to pack it up and close down. Many new EPA regulations that have been created under the Obama administration are also making it more costly and difficult for some small and large businesses to operate. Again the results will be workers showing up to find the doors locked and owners gone.
In the end, Obama wants to turn all of us into ants that do everything for the common good of the community and to stop thinking about ourselves. They labor long and hard, day and night, seven days a week, 365 days a year without any thought or concern for themselves. This is Socialism 101 and so far, he is following the lesson plan laid out by his socialist mentors and teachers.
I don’t know about you, but I refuse to be an ant.
