Since my team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, is not in the Super Bowl this year, I’ll be watching the game off and on. My blood pressure will remain constant.
I’m not sure who to pull for. How the game is played will sway me to a team.
Sometimes the Super Bowl ads outperform the game. We’ll see. Here’s one ad that will run. All is not what it seems:

The National Football League will air a bone-chilling commercial during Sunday’s Super Bowl to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.
The commercial features scenes from the home of a family plagued by domestic violence. In the background, a recording of a 911 call is played during which a woman tries to order pizza from a police officer.
After the officer explains to the woman that she dialed 911 and not a pizza delivery, she continues with her order until the dispatcher realizes that she can’t tell him why she called.
The chilling commercial is based on the experience of former 911 dispatcher Keith Weisinger, who spoke to BuzzFeed in October. The commercial replicates the call to Weisinger almost word for word.
“Whether she had thought of this trick before, or it just came to her, she indicated the urgency of her situation without giving away the true purpose of her call,” Weisinger said.
The release of the commercial, from the NFL’s No More initiative, comes in the aftermath of a year during which several NFL players were accused or convicted of crimes involving domestic violence and sexual assault.
