As if the country hasn’t had enough yet of protests peaceful or violent using the twin excuses of the Michael Brown and Eric Garner, the race-baiters and the radical groups behind them are looking to expand the ongoing outrage charade into a full-blown race war.
It’s become increasingly evident that Occupy Wall Street, CAIR, the Communist Party USA and other radical, anti-American groups are behind most of the ongoing agitation, and even the professional pot-stirrers like Al Sharpton have sponsors, in Sharpton’s case, corporations like NBC, Anheuser-Busch, Macy’s, FedEx and a host of others.
The latest targets of the Left’s racial rampage are Fox News and the New York Post. Why? According to the invitation for an Occupy-sponsored “die-in” planned for January 2, “The NY POST is a newspaper that is owned and controlled by the Right Winger Rupert Murdoch, who in essence is a corporate racist that continually supports and disseminates racist, classist, sexist and all forms of pro 1% misinformation through his NY POST newspaper as well as FOX television.”
And what’s the goal, you might ask? “This Die-In Shutdown and Boycott is but the first part of a larger upcoming campaign for justice … to expose the racist lies and bias of mass media starting with but NOT limited to the NY POST!”
In other words, shutting down any media outlet that may not toe the racial values party line is the purpose. Considering that it’s conservative media being targeted, that should tell you all you need to know about the orientation and values of the protesters.
It seems like this past year, the radicals have been whipped up more than usual, and the thrumping in the November election just kicked things up a notch. With all the headway the Left has made in destroying the country under Obama, it seems they’re afraid now to lose their gains.
Hence the Left has been taking a shotgun approach to pushing through its agenda. Obama remains the point man, with his pen and his phone and a complacent Congress, at least until the new year.
Thus amnesty was forced upon us, with all the Reconquista and La Raza baggage immigration activists can slip through the border. The president chose foreigners over citizens, and the Congress in the waning days of the session, not only refused to stop him, but saw a partnering of John Boehner’s RINOs with Nancy Pelosi’s Democrats in an effort to head off the incoming tide of conservatives and ensure the continuation of a rubber-stamp Congress.
The “racist cops” narrative has been pasted into the media’s repeating tape loop in hopes that the brainwashing will take hold and Americans will be foolish enough to hamstring their police officers and expand criminal “rights.”
The “all men are rapists” theme made headlines thanks to Rolling Stone’s article about an alleged gang rape at a fraternity house, a story that began to fall apart as it was examined more closely. Lena Dunham earlier in the year hit the same theme, slightly modified, with her story about being raped by a well-known Republican on her college campus, another story that appears now to have been made up by Dunham. Feminists naturally have stood by both alleged victims, hammering on their claim that one in five women is raped while attending college. Government figures put the real number at about one-half percent.
There were the usual stories about atheists who hate Christmas and anything Christian suing to have their beliefs adopted as the only ones acceptable for public expression. Several Satanist groups pitched in for the effort this year, pushing to erect Satanic monuments in state capitals and other public places.
Deeply troubling over the past year has been the rise, not just nationally but globally, of anti-Israel sentiment. Most often it has taken the form of pro-Palestinian, pro-Muslim propaganda, even as the biggest foreign news story of the year has been ISIS and the swath of murder, rape and terror it has cut across lands the U.S. military had secured under President Bush.
The rise of jihadism parallels a revival of open Nazism, in Greece, Germany and many other countries. Even in the U.S., the Nazi Party years ago threw its support behind the Occupy movement. Considering Occupy’s involvement in the current wave of racial demonstrations, it doesn’t take much imagination to connect the dots.
In retrospect, 2014 seems in many ways like one big stage setting in preparation for whatever’s to come in 2015. We may hope it’s for the better and not the worse.
