Repeat Illegal Arrested for Fatal Hit and Run

Over 50 Republicans in Congress are sponsoring a bill that would require a mandatory prison sentence for illegals that re-enter the US illegally after being deported. Democrats continue to fight the passage of the bill, known as Kate’s Law, after murder victim Kathryn Steinle. They claim that it would tear families apart.

As Democrats continue to fight the passage of Kate’s Law, another illegal murders an innocent person. Meet Ramon Jaime Horta.

In 2001, he was convicted of possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license. He only spent 9 months in jail before being deported for the first time. Like so many other illegals, Horta quickly returned to the US and continued his life of crime. Between 2002 and 2012, he again was convicted several times of drug possession, battery along with a number of other crimes. He was deported in 2002, 2006, 2009 and again in 2012.

Did Horta learn his lesson and stay in Mexico where he belonged? With Obama’s open armes welcome policy, Horta returned to the US yet again. Earlier this week, Horta was driving without a driver’s license and under the influence in Santa Clara, California, when he was observed hitting Marcello Bisarello with his car and killing him. Horta fled the scene but Cesar Guzman, an eye witness, chased Horta down with his own car until he finally trapped Horta. When police showed up, Horta was arrested and charged with hit and run, the death of Bisarello, driving under the influence and without a license.

Had Obama secured the border and enforced immigration laws, chances are Horta may not have been back in the US free to drive under the influence without a license and run over innocent people. Had there been a law like Kate’s Law already on the books, Horta would have been sitting in jail instill of murdering people with his car.

The sad thing is this is not an isolated case. In addition to the shooting death of Kathryn Steinle by an illegal this summer in San Francisco, there is also the case of Victor Aureliano Martinez Ramirez. Back in July, he broke into the home of 64 year old Marilyn Pharis a US military veteran. Ramirez wielded a hammer as he sexually assaulted Pharis and then killed her. In this case, Santa Maria Police Chief Ralph Martin said that the brutal death of Pharis could have been avoided if state and federal officials enforced immigration laws the way the laws were written.

Last year an illegal shot and killed a convenience store clerk around the corner from where I lived in Mesa, Arizona. These are only a few of the cases where illegals have been convicted of crimes, deported and returned to the US to commit more crimes against American citizens.

The next time a Democrat whines that Kate’s Law will tear families apart, someone needs to ask him or her about the families of their victims. What about the families of Marilyn Pharis, Marcello Bisarello and the store clerk? Haven’t their families been torn apart because of the actions of illegals who illegally returned to the US? Ask the Democrat to put him or herself in the shoes of Jim Steinle who was with his daughter Kathryn on the pier in San Francisco when she was murdered in cold blood by an illegal who should have been in jail. He performed CPR on his dying daughter as she laid there in a pool of her own blood. How does a father live with that memory of seeing his beautiful daughter collapse and die in front him.

Then ask the liberal bleeding heart Democrats how many more Americans have to be assaulted, robbed, raped and murdered by illegals before they’ll finally take action to protect Americans from illegals? Demand to know why they protect them and not us.

It’s time we remove every liberal politician, Democrat, Republican, Independent or Socialist who advocates protecting illegals from office. Make them live in neighborhoods that have been taken over by illegals and see just how safe they feel. The only way they’ll change their ways is for them to fall victim to those they protect.
