No Special Privileges for Transvestites and Other Sexual Deviations

There should be no special privileges for special interests.

We must stop Mayor Annise Parker’s plan to impose her radical idea to create two new “protected classes” into the city of Houston’s charter’s anti-discrimination provisions. This new city ordinance would grant minority status to individuals based upon their chosen lifestyle of “sexual orientation” and “gender identification.”

Mayor Parker’s ordinance would include minority status for transvestites, allowing men who dress as women to enter women’s public bathrooms and locker room areas.

I want to protect my wife, daughters, and granddaughters from being exposed to the dangers of male sexual predators masquerading as women in women’s bathrooms and other facilities. Shame on Mayor Parker for proposing an ordinance that would put women and children at risk from Sexual Predators.

It is totally absurd to grant minority status, with the special privileges that accompany this status, to any organized political group based solely upon their chosen lifestyle, no matter what that lifestyle may be. This would open the door for quotas in hiring, in city contracts and affirmative action requirements. Just imagine the potential for lawsuits in a business from men who want to wear dresses, use women’s bathrooms and flaunt their distorted sexuality. This is just outrageous!

If you, as a business owner, disapprove of an individual’s actions or a person’s moral character, then you should not be coerced or forced by law to accept or approve their behavior. According to Parker’s proposed ordinance, if you refused to hire, do business with, or refuse access to female restrooms for transvestites, then you would be prosecuted as a criminal. Shame on Mayor Parker for proposing an ordinance that would put business owners and their businesses at risk.

Enough is enough! It is time for right thinking people to tell Parker, “No! We are absolutely not going to let Houston become like San Francisco or any other city that promotes alternative lifestyles at the expense of families and common sense.

There should be no special privileges for special interests.

What about normal people like you? Who is looking out for your rights? Who is looking out after your interests? Who cares about your family and children? Who cares about your business? Not Mayor Parker, that’s for sure.

I’m asking you to call and email Houston City Council Members today and tell them to vote NO on Mayor Parker’s ordinance which has been called The Parker Sexual Predator Protection Act. The council members’ phone numbers may be found on this email.

Please forward this email to your distribution lists including your family, friends, church members, and your pastor. Help me have this information go viral.

Thank you for having the courage of your convictions to stand up in order to keep Houston safe for our families and for our children.
