The Irony of Fast and Furious

As more and more members of Congress are calling for the resignation of US Attorney Genera Eric Holder, I couldn’t help but reflect on the irony of it all.

The current Democratic hierarchy is one of the most anti-gun political groups America has ever known.  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is trying to use the United Nations’ resolutions to push for total gun control in the US which would outlaw all handguns, rifles and shotguns.  A number of Democratic Congressmen and women have been calling for strict gun control laws, especially following the January shooting of Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords from Arizona.

US Attorney General Eric Holder also has a track record of supporting gun control and the banning of many types of guns from being sold here in the US.  And now Holder is facing the scandal of his career for his responsibility in the Fast and Furious project that placed thousands of guns into the hands of the deadly Mexican drug cartels.

Holder and other Democrats don’t want Americans to own firearms, so they run a program to give them all to the very criminals that have been terrorizing Americans and Mexicans on both sides of the border.  Thanks to Holder and his gang, more innocent people will be shot down in cold blood with weapons they furnished to the cartels.

What would be more appropriate or ironic than for Holder and everyone else who was involved in Fast and Furious to lose their jobs and even face criminal charges for the violation of federal firearms laws?
