Think Health Insurance is Expensive Now? Wait Until it’s Free!

Well, we’re still waiting.

Everyone has been talking about Obamacare’s expensive premiums. That many plans have people seeing premium increases of 50 – 100 – 150% and more.

To be sure, folks are already beginning to suffer from monthly premium sticker shock. That is, the few that have been able to get into the system to purchase a plan.

But what will really affect the public’s bottom line are the astronomical deductibles and co-pays that will be forced on us. It’s pay me now, pay me later . . . just pay up!

Nationwide, deductibles on the least expensive Bronze Obamacare plans can be as high as almost $13,000. Couple that with co-pays of up to 40%.

Don’t get sick and don’t get hurt!

For those who are unfamiliar with the terms, a deductible is the amount an insured person is liable to pay on each loss or injury before an insurance company will make payment. Co-pay is a fixed amount required by a health insurer to be paid by the insured for each outpatient visit or drug prescription.

The Chicago Tribune found that if Adam Weldzius, a nurse practitioner and 33-year-old single father living in Carpentersville, Illinois, wanted to keep the same level of coverage next year as what he has now with the same insurer and the same network of doctors and hospitals as Obama promised he could, his monthly premium of $233 would more than double.

To keep his premiums at the same level for himself and his 7-year-old daughter, his annual deductible would be $12,700 vs. $3,500 today and there was no mention of the co-pay. The Tribune also discovered, “21 of the 22 lowest-priced plans offered on the Illinois health insurance exchange for Cook County have annual deductibles of more than $4,000 for an individual and $8,000 for family coverage.”

The Christian Science Monitor reported on a North Carolina family that had been buying Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance for $380-a-month. “BCBS is offering them a new plan for three times the cost, $1,124.50 a month, still with an $11,000 deductible.”

Here’s a reality check question: How many working class average American families will be able to afford this? Not many.

Of course this devious plan is all by design. For the average family without exceptional medical expenses, ObamaCare insurance will NEVER kick in one dime of coverage. High premiums will be paid, all for the privilege of paying most, if not all, yearly medical expenses out of pocket.  What a deal! A redistributionist’s dream!

So this is what will actually end up occurring. Those who least can afford it will eventually be forced to purchase these extremely high deductible health plans. Many will barely be able to afford the drastic hike in monthly premium, but will somehow swing it by cutting back in other areas. Something the government knows nothing about and will never do.

Due to high deductibles and co-pays, family healthcare will begin to take a back seat to other necessities, you know, like food and shelter. Again, those who can least afford to, will no longer see their doctor for what are initially thought to be relatively minor ailments.

As these “minor” ailments persist, they will eventually worsen, possibly to the point of hospitalization. And that’s where the real money must be shelled out, bankrupting many. It’s human nature. People will put these ailments off until they are no longer able to and by then, for some, it will be too late.

There will be more instances of severe illness due to ObamaCare, not less, guaranteed!

Just another, yet unseen benefit brought to us by the ObamaCare Eugenicists.
