We’ve seen reports how states like California are allowing illegal aliens to enroll in the state Obamacare exchanges and most of them are receiving government subsidies. Yep, that’s right! You and I are paying our hard earned tax dollars to help pay for healthcare for illegal aliens. Don’t know about you but that really ticks me off.
However, thousands of illegals are losing their ill-gotten and undeserved healthcare because they are here in the US illegally.
Humana Inc., based in Louisville, Kentucky, just announced that 150,000 of their customers are losing their healthcare coverage. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) cancelled the subsidized private plans due to a lack of proper immigration documentation and/or verification of income. It is believed that a significant number of illegals are among the 150,000 that just lost their coverage. If Humana lost 150,000 policy holders, I wonder how many thousands were booted out from other healthcare coverage providers?
It’s ironic that Obama’s own liberal illegal loving administration is the culprit that is denying healthcare coverage to Obama’s protected illegals. Obama violates the US Constitution along with numerous federal laws and states’ rights to protect his millions of potential illegal voters and now his own people just kicked thousands of them off of his prized healthcare program.
The news from Humana is also shoving another thorn in the side of Obamacare. In 2014 Humana raked in $9.99 billion in premiums for their retail sector in the third quarter. Even though the number of policy holders dropped from 1,085,800 in the third quarter of 2014 to 963,700 as of September 30, 2015, their premium intake jumped 14% to $11.35 billion.
Barack Obama continues to do whatever he can to make premium increases seem as little as possible, but the figures released by Humana indicate otherwise. He can’t explain a 14% increase in premiums with 150,000 fewer policy holders. Seems the news from Humana is proving to be two bitter pills for Barack Obama to swallow.
