The Donald went to Twitter to stand up for Anthony Scaramucci on Saturday.
Scaramucci is the newest member of Trumps administration as White House communications director. This is also the reason Sean Spicer stepped down as White House Press Secretary on Friday.
The tweet read, “In all fairness to Anthony Scaramucci, he wanted to endorse me 1st, before the Republican Primaries started, but didn’t think I was running!”

Scaramucci originally endorsed a handful of Republican candidates in the 2015-2016 primaries including former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. In fact, he claimed the now president was a “hack politician” while on TV back in August of 2015.
Scaramucci first endorsed Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush over Trump during the Republican primaries.
In another instance the current communications director said Trumps word choice was “anti-American”. The word choice he was referring to were comments made by President Trump about “hedge fund guys paying nothing” in taxes.
At a White House press briefing last week Scaramucci mentioned that it was on of the biggest mistakes he had made because of his inexperience in politics. He went on to say that Trump “brings it up every 15 seconds”. He then went even further as to formally and publicly apologize to the president in saying,”I should have never said that about him. So Mr. President, if you’re listening, I personally apologize for the fiftieth time for saying that.”
It is good to see the President stand up for his staff, like we witnessed him do with Scaramucci. This just proves the kind of man Trump is. Even after Scaramucci openly insulted the President’s intelligence and character Trump still had his back when it mattered most and thats what counts. This is the kind of man I want in the white house, not one that is a coward or holds grudges.
I want a president that is willing to forgive but also stands up and makes the hard decisions. I can say confidently that with our current administration we have found that.
