UN “Justice” Means Feeding the Dirt Poor To The Rich In The Name Of The More Dirt Poor

Many conservatives are accustomed to resisting and lobbying against UN influence in the United States. But this story, “Amid Federal Land Grab in Brazil, Whole Towns Evicted at Gunpoint,” reminds us that the UN is doing its evil work all over the world:

“Federal Brazilian police and military personnel, some wearing United Nations insignia, are forcibly relocating whole communities in Brazil at gunpoint under the guise of returning huge tracts of land to a small group of Indians whose ancestors were allegedly there at some point. Thousands of local residents who have lived in the area for decades or were even born there, however, are fighting back, with critics saying the government’s actions smack of Stalinism and may constitute crimes against humanity. Since the latest controversial operation began in November in the state of Mato Grosso, according to authorities and news reports, citizens opposed to being stripped of their property and homes have been doing everything in their power to stop the assault — setting up road blocks, battling heavily armed federal forces with stones, sticks, and Molotov cocktails, torching government trucks, protesting, and refusing to leave. Others cried as they tore down their own simple houses under armed guard.”

The above quotation has a link to the following video. I don’t understand Portuguese, but you don’t have to understand the language to notice the people tearing down their homes, the SWAT-garbed and armed police, and the people weeping as they describe what is going on.

What is obvious from the video is that these people tearing down their homes are poor. By American standards they are very poor. According to the story, Brazilian politics is overrun by Leftists who have decided that any area where a tribal person was buried must have been land that belonged to the tribe and must be given back. Do you think that an the discovery of an Indian buried under a skyscraper in the skyline of São Paulo, would ever be used to give it to the tribe? Of course not. Nor are we ever going to see the UN force the US to “give back” New York or Washington, DC, to the native Americans.

But forcing a bunch of poor property owners into homelessness (the government is offering no compensation) at gun point so that corporations can later come in and exploit resources? That is not only likely, it is already happening. By transferring other people’s real property into a kind of “common property” that is “owned” by a tiny tribe, the state is increasing its direct control over the land and its resources.

“Critics and local residents have accused the government of Brazil of mass corruption, saying the end goal is to smash private property ownership and all potential resistance — starting with the rural population. They argue, among other points, that federal authorities are doing the bidding of foreign interests and are in cahoots with the UN, massive international corporations, Western-based non-governmental organizations like Greenpeace, and other interests.”

So while we resist the demonic aggression of the United Nations in America, we need to remember that the attack isn’t coming from the rest of the world. Rather, it is coming from the elites of the rest of the world who are also attacking the majority of their own people. People are really being robbed of what little they own and cast out of their homes.

May God grind these bureaucrats, and environmentalists, into the dust under the feet of their victims. And may he do it soon.

  1. It’s just about money, money, money. Since when are poor people more important than the all mighty Dollar, Peso or Yen. Poor people don’t pay taxes (or graft) to the government.

  2. I am a native (European) Portuguese speaker. Here’s my quick attempt at translating the video embedded on this article. Some of those folks aren’t as dirt-poor as one might think at first. They are hands-on, hardworking entrepreneurs. They built their own houses and business…heck they cleared the wilderness themselves and made a town. All the more reason for their Marxist overlords to hate them and force them to tear town the fruits of their labors at gunpoint, I guess.
Also notice how everyone is Brazil is considered “White” by the Federal Government when the time comes to expropriate them for the (supposed) sake of the “Indian”.

Reporter: “Two days to the deadline for disintrusion (eviction) from the district of “Estrela do Araguaia” (Star of Araguaia) the most common scenes are these: policemen on the streets, justice officers accompanied by police visiting residences and businesses, laden moving trucks, homes and businesses being demolished and lot, indeed a lot of revolt.”

Resident on Roof: “Well…I (unintelligible) New Year. Since January I’ve had this situation here, with a 20kg mallet in my hand. Where’s our justice? Everything is wrong in this world. I have to tear it all down, right?

Resident on Street: “The injustice in Brazil must be called out.”

    Resident on Roof: “Right!”

Resident on Street: “We have no justice.”

Resident on Roof: “We don’t! Things are wrong in this world.”

Resident on Street: “Why? Doing something like this to your own Brazilian (people), with what he bought with his own sweat? We didn’t need anyone, we got all this by ourselves. And now they do this mess to the People? Dilma (the new Brazilian President) should be ashamed, she can’t even administer her own country.”

Roof: “Right! Mine sweat, with my own sweat I built this house, pouring sweat.”

Resident on Street: “Do you understand? I was over there yesterday, four hours deadline with my daughter inside the house and me at work. What for? Why was I there? Half a world of policemen over there, why didn’t one of them came with me and brought me to where my daughter was? No, I had to wait until the Commander got there to bring me to my house.”

Reporter: “The “Posto da Mata” (lit. Gas Station on the Wood) as the district of Estrela do Araguaia is commonly known, was taken by the police forces last Sunday on the 30th of December. The policemen went into town using tear gas bombs and rubber bullets in at attempt to intimidate the populace. They came with many cars, helicopters and a few policemen with hood masks. The police set up a base in the gas station that originated the name “Posto da mata”. At the station the people had gathered in a protest, the police tore down a (fence? podium?) there and fully dismantled all the tents that had been erected near there. Roadways 242 and 158 are still open and transit is normal but inside “Posto da Mata” the general feelings are anguish and revolt. Residents are departing in despair for many say they have nowhere to go.”

Reporter: “Here is the the Cemetery of Estrela do Araguai commonly known as Posto da Mata, dozens of bodies are buried here. But the question that refuses to go unasked is what will be done with the bodies interred here? No one answers…what is known is that from January the 4th onward, this cemetary will be inside the Indigenous Reservation (Marau Seven?) and no White person will have authorization to pay a visit to their dearly departed.”

Resident: “(unintelligible) 25 years I live here (unintelligible) it was like this, in 2006 there was a confrontation with them above the (unintelligible), the authorities were there later and said: “Let them cross the farms there and we will deal with it latter in court”. Then what happens? The landowner lets it go and allows them to cross the farm. That was situation that we had around here since 2006, but before that had never happened. When we came here, I have what? 25, almost 30 years living here, my kids where born here, they are studying in the 1st Degree (of the Brazilian school class system) in that school over there, got it? So our intent was to change their school to provide them with better studies but (it is costly? expensive?).”

Reporter: “And you had a lot of life projects here in this region? Before all of this happened?”

Resident: “My life project here was this: all my life I worked with this truck here, there was a cage on it I had to remove to work in the house evictions that they are doing, I’m now carrying these rail irons to dirt field over there. I have some land over there, I own that hotel, the drink and restaurant outlet, that there is mine. Then what happens? All my life I worked here, moving cattle, buying, selling, that was my trade. That is how I was trying to develop my situation here. But it got to the point where I lost my land, lost my houses, lost my terrains here. My family I sent away…(sobs). This is the Justice of Dilma (the President), I voted for her thinking that in all of our cases there would be an improvement. In my case I cleared…when we first came here almost all of this was brute (jungle), so we set about clearing it, doing things slowly with the intent of improving the area in the future. (Look at) the situation that the woman (Dilma) has caused now.”

Reporter: “The deadline for residents remaining in Posto da Mata ends on January the 4th. Those that do not comply can have their assets seized and may be arrested for disobedience to the Order…” (video ends)

    1. Vargr…I feel so sorry for these hard-working people. ARRESTED for not giving up what belongs to them!!!

Thank you much for the very helpful translation. In any language….Marxism is evil, evil, evil.

      1. I am sick and tired of these thugs and this President who feels me making $250,000 I am rich. I worked long and hard hours to get where I am at and I resent any Union Leader, President, Gore, Pelosi, Schumer, Durbin feels I should share my wealth with lazy thugs who would rather live off the government. I say this, No Democratic member of Congress deserves a raise for sitting on their butts and doing nothhing for the American people. They just kiss butts with illegal ignorant people and blacks who just want handouts. Well I can tell you this, we Americans will not stand for it and the sooner this President is tossed in jail for murder, tossed in jail for treason by sending F15 to terrorists groups and was in cahoots with Morsi to kidnap the ambassador which blew upin his face should be arrested and impeached along with Schumer, Durbin, Reid, Pelosi, Soros, Ayers, Jarrett, Rice and Hillary Clinton. They are the devils in our country today.

      2. You are missing the most important part of this. They voted for this marxist a**hole because she promised Hope and Change. WAKE UP!!!

    2. And our goverment wants to do away with the second amendment , this action is the reason for the amendment , fight the Faschist government who is stealing their property.

    3. Thank you so much for your assistance … it is much appreciated!
They are trying to prepare the way in the US for the same situation!

  3. This is U.N. Agenda 21 in action. It will happen here to those so stupid as to surrender their means of self-defense. Is life so dear or “peace” so sweet?

  4. Sounds like the money Obama gave Brazil is being used clear the people from their land so It’s Communist leaning government can meet the United Nations requirements for “sustainable development”.

  5. Gee, wouldn’t it be nice if they had weapons to repel the government tyranny? If you know anything about Agenda 21, then you know that this kind of tyranny is on its way here also. As soon as they find a way to confiscate our guns, they will start the land grab. Private property is a big nono in the NWO. At least, not for the peasants. Peasants?? You didn’t know we had peasants in the U.S? Of course we do. They’re just called citizens for now.

  6. We are resisting? Poor poor conservative moron, we have been empyting out our wild areas as well over the last 20 years all done to follow UN treaties on wild lands, biodiversity and agenda 21. Thousands of people had to give up family cabins and forestlands and you look to Brazil? Where were you in 1995 in the US?? It is happening here!

    1. It’s happening right before our eyes.
First, they really need to disarm us in order to capture complete control.
This is the goal for 2013.
Agenda 21 is an evil plan disguised in an illusion of Peace and Harmony.
It only protects the elites, wildlife, plants, land, water and air.
We The People are the parasites in the view they perseive.
What do we do to parasites that intrude with our lives?
      Kill the annoying little critters…
