US Courting Diplomatic Relations with Islamist Group that Murders Christians

When Hosni Mubarak served as Egypt’s fourth president, he banned the Muslim Brotherhood from political activity in the nation.  Many believe he did so to prevent Egypt from becoming another Islamic controlled country in order to garner the support of the United States.

During that time, some members of the Muslim Brotherhood ran for seats in the Egyptian Parliament as independents to get around Mubarak’s ban.  Since the ousting of Mubarak, the Muslim Brotherhood has been gaining strength and support as the largest Islamic organization in Egypt and more seats in parliament.

Also since the ousting of Mubarak, the persecution of Christians in Egypt has increased.  Christian churches have been vandalized and burned to the ground.  Christians have been beaten and murdered by Islamic extremists, some of which have been associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood has also made it made known that they do not support the nation of Israel and have joined other Islamic organizations in the Middle East in declaring their desire to see the Jews pushed out of Jerusalem and the surrounding area.

But the Obama administration says and does nothing in defense of Egyptian Christians or the US’s strongest ally in the region, Israel.  Instead, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama are actively trying to meet with and establish diplomatic relationship with the very same group that has launched all-out war with those who profess faith in Jesus Christ.

Obama and Clinton both claim to be Christians, yet this is one of a growing list of actions on their part to reach out to the Muslims who have vowed to destroy Christians as well as Jews.  We’ve all heard that expression that actions speak louder than words, and although Clinton and Obama’s words say Christian, their actions more and more are saying Muslim, especially Obama’s.
