Where Should America’s Priorities Lie: Within or Without?

Once again we see Washington doing more to protect people in other nations than it is doing to protect its own people. In a typical move, our beloved leader in the White House announced a new directive aimed at strengthening American’s role in helping to prevent mass atrocities and genocide overseas in other nations.

Yet, the same administration is doing everything it can to continue the mass atrocities and infanticide being carried out in our own nation. While millions of unborn babies are still being slaughtered in the womb here in America, our government turns its humanitarian face away from their plight and looks to see what it can do to save others across the sea.

There is no worse atrocity than the premeditated murder of innocent children not yet born. And the main reasons for these murders is that the couple responsible for the pregnancy either didn’t care to take precautions in the first place or they decided they just didn’t want the child after all.

True some abortions are carried out to save the life of the mother, but nothing else comes close to justifying cold blooded murder.

What’s the difference between killing the helpless unborn to killing the helpless aged, the terminally ill or those with severe handicaps that are incapable of caring for themselves?

Where is our nation’s humanitarian heart when an unborn child is ripped apart limb by limb and the fetal blood runs down the drain? America’s leaders should stop being hypocrites and tend to the atrocities here at home before worrying about those in other lands.

It reminds me of Matthew 7:4-5 which states:

“Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
