Which is Worse: F__k You or Slut?

Several weeks ago, popular radio host Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a slut.  Even though he later apologized for his comment, he is still being crucified by the liberal media.  How dare a supposed conservative talk show personality do such a thing or use such offensive language.

Some sponsors of Limbaugh’s broadcast have pulled their ads from his show claiming his actions were vulgar and inexcusable.  The computer back-up giant Carbonite has been one of the sponsors that reacted to the controversial outburst by pulling its advertising.  Since doing so, it has seen a 20% reduction in its stock value.

Even President Obama got into the Limbaugh bashing by criticizing him for what he said and what he called Fluke.  Obama condemned him and said,

“All decent folks can agree that the remarks that were made don’t have any place in the public discourse.  And the reason I called Miss Fluke is because I thought about Malia and Sasha and one of the things I want them to do as they get older is to engage in issues they care about.  Even one’s I may not agree with them on.  I want them to speak their mind in a civil and thoughtful way and I don’t want them attacked or called horrible names because they’re being good citizens.  And I wanted Sandra to know that I thought her parents should be proud of her and that we want to send a message to all our young people that being part of a democracy involves argument and disagreements and debate and we want you to be engaged and there’s a way to do it that doesn’t involved you being demeaned and insulted particularly when you’re a private citizen.”

Well, Mr President, first I have to instruct you in correct political terms.  America is not a democracy, it’s a republic.  Secondly, in light of what you said above, how can you not disapprove and apologize for the actions of singer Cee Lo Green at your fundraising event this past Friday in Atlanta.

As Green took the stage to entertain the crowd of checkbooks, he flipped off the crowd and asked if it was okay to cuss.  Then without waiting for an answer, proceeded to perform his song F__k You instead of the scheduled tamer version Forget You.  Afterward, he addressed the donors by asking, “Ain’t that some s__t?”

Instead of condemning Green for offensive vulgarity, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney sloughed it off to reporters by saying that Obama was a fan of Green and probably had some of his songs on his iPod.

I would hope that every single donor at the event was appalled and offended by the singer’s crudeness and would have kept their checkbooks closed, but that evidently was not the case.  It seems that no one has spoken out against the offensive profanity used before the crowd.

This only goes to prove that liberal Democrats, including the president, are quick to scream and condemn a conservative for calling someone a slut while at the same time have no qualms with the use of profanity at a presidential fundraiser.  Not only are they hypocrites, but it also goes to show how desensitized they are to some of the foulest profanity possible.  And I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Obama has the F__k You song on his iPod and that pretty much sums up the way he feels about most Americans and the American way of life.
