By now you’ve heard the news about 17 year old Jared Cano’s plan to set off a number of pipe bombs at his former high school with the intent to kill at least 30 teachers and students with the goal of surpassing the number killed at Columbine in 1999. The school expelled Cano a year and half ago because of burglary charges and now he was seeking revenge.
Since being expelled from school, Cano had been arrested for marijuana possession and carrying a concealed weapon. The local police are well familiar with the teenager which they describe as being an angry young man.
Someone tipped the police that Cano was plotting a bomb attack for the first day of school. They immediately investigated and in the apartment he shared with his mother they found bomb making materials including fuses, timers, shrapnel, accelerant and plastic tubing along with a journal detailing his plans.
One of Cano’s friends claims that he was just venting anger and would never have carried out the bombing but police are not so sure and have charged Cano with several felony charges.
Listening to the various news media coverage of the story, it surprised me that so many reporters actually sounded surprised that something like this would happen. I’ve already heard a couple them ask how on earth could somebody even think of doing something like this.
The answer is simple, they’re taught to think like that in the public school system. Millions of kids are being taught that they are just another animal and that this world is all about survival of the fittest. The strong suppress and rule over the weak, and how best to prove you are stronger than others than to exhibit such power as blowing a bunch of them up?
Additionally, our kids are being taught that there are no absolute truths. Truth is relative to your situation. Those in power and authority make moral decisions for all those they have power over them, but those decisions are also relative to you and your situation.
For example say there is a person who believes that pedophilia is not wrong and that it is a normal way of life and you get into a discussion with the person trying to convince them it is wrong. Without absolutes to go on, who is to say whose opinion and likes are okay and others are not? You could argue that our society says it’s wrong but that person may argue that society is wrong and they know of a lot of people that believe as they do. If you think this example is absurd, try doing some research into some articles that have been published over the last 10 years by various members of the psychology and psychiatry community that have used this type of argument to justify sinful behaviors including pedophilia.
Lastly and more importantly, the schools are not allowed to teach anything to do with God or the Bible. What it does teach is aimed at undermining them. The Bible is the only true source of absolute truth, but when millions of kids are taught you can’t believe in or trust the Bible, all foundations for truth and morality are destroyed.
As a result, we have a couple of generations that were taught secular primeval survival of the fittest. If you want to get ahead, you have to be more fit, stronger and exert more power over others around you. Since there isn’t any God, you don’t have to be accountable to anyone for your actions, except the local authorities. Today, they’ve lost all respect for that authority because they see them as animal competition. Without absolute truth, you really don’t have to listen or respect anyone if you don’t want to.
Consequently, violent and personal crimes have skyrocketed since the Bible, God and prayer were taken out of the schools. It has been replaced by a generation with no direction and no purpose, which often lead to violence and higher suicide rates.
Ladies and gentlemen, Jared Cano is just acting out what he’s been taught all his life in the public school system. He’s actually being truer to his education than most.
And the only solution is to get all of the wishy washy psychologist, psychiatrists and social workers out of the school system. Replace them with the Bible, classes on Christianity and bring back the good old spanking. If you recall, Scripture says that to spare the rod spoils the child and folks, many of our kids are beyond spoiled, they’ve rotted from the inside out.
