A new report finds that 18 illegal aliens died while in the custody of ICE officials during Barack Obama’s reign, but the media paid no attention, and no Democrat wanted any “investigations” to be conducted.
Imagine that, huh?
Today, as Democrats pretend that they care, the media is going wild for the story about the little seven-year-old girl who died after her irresponsible father dragged her across parched, rugged, predator-infested lands to illegally break into our country. But once here, the girl took ill and died.
It is sad, of course. But it isn’t America’s fault and it certainly isn’t President Donald Trump’s fault.
Yet, the media is losing its mind and helping lying Democrats call for all manner of “investigation” into the incident. But, when these things happened under Obama, no one even batted an eye.
In July 2016, Human Rights Watch condemned the Obama administration for 18 migrants who died while in the custody of USCBP, claiming that seven or more of the 18 died as the result of the agency’s “substandard” and “inappropriate” care for migrants at detention centers. The detainees who died then were between 24 and 49 years old.
“In 2009, the Obama administration promised major immigration detention reforms, including more centralized oversight and improved health care,” Human Rights Watch said at the time. “But these death reviews show that system-wide problems remain, including a failure to prevent or fix substandard medical care that literally kills people.”
Migrant deaths along the U.S. southern border goes back years, and according to a 2014 report by the International Organization for Migration, Smithsonian Magazine noted that over 6,000 people died at that point attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
Presently, however, Democratic lawmakers are now more interested in investigating the one migrant death of Jakelin Caal Maquin.
They never cared when Obama “killed” 18. Now they are all upset at the loss of one.
So, do they really care about this little girl? Or is it just normal, hate-filled, Democrat politics?
I know you can answer that all on your own.
