A 9 year old girl identified only as Dafne, Jalisco, Mexico, gave birth to a 5.7 pound baby on January 27. The baby was delivered by cesarean section in a local hospital and is reported to be doing well as is the young mother.
Dafne claims that the 17 year old father of the baby is her boyfriend and that the sex was consensual. The father has been missing since the birth and authorities are looking for him. He may be facing charges of rape or child sex abuse.
Authorities say that Dafne was 8 years old when she became pregnant. Most of us are repulsed by the very thought of that happening to a girl that young. My granddaughter is ten and the thought of her being a mother at that age is frightening.
But this is exactly the sort of thing that the United Nations has been promoting. Last year at the United Nations Youth Conference in New York they unveiled their Y-PEER initiative that wanted to give sexual rights to youth. They didn’t exactly define what ages they were referring to, but other UN references indicate ages as young as 10 years old and possibly younger.
Not only does the UN want to give young kids the rights to sexual freedoms, they want to make it so that the parents do not know about it, completely undermining all parental authority. They also want to eliminate any criminal charges against youth having sex, which opens the door for legal statutory rape, child prostitution and pedophilia. Part of the Y-PEER initiative reads:
“Young women’s health is threatened by policies and services that do not provide life-saving access to family planning and contraception. It is vital to implement key effective measures in the continuum of care for maternal health, including access to safe abortion…The rights of marginalized young people, including those who are living with HIV, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, young men who have sex with men, sex workers, injecting drug users, disabled youth, young people in crisis situations and other vulnerable youth continue to be violated through policies and programmes that criminalize them and ignore their specific needs.”
According to the UN’s Y-PEER initiative, there would be nothing wrong with a 17 year old boy having sex with an 8 year old girl. The initiative would also make it permissible for young girl’s like Daphne to have access to all the maternal health care they need or access to an abortion clinic to terminate the pregnancy, and the parents would not need to know nor would they have the right to know.
It’s programs like these that completely undermine America’s values and morals. This is why I strongly advocate that the US withdraw from the United Nations, who’s only goal is to establish a one-world government. We also need to kick their socialist butts out of our country.
In 2010, the US contributed $7.691 billion to the UN. That figure was over a billion dollars more than the year before, so under Obama’s liberal standards, that figure is probably pushing close to $10 billion a year now. Compared to the national debt, it may not seem like much, but every $9-$10 billion cut from the budget will add up and help to curb our out-of-control spending.
So when you see stories like the 9 year old in Mexico, the 9 year old girl in China or the 10 year old girl in Colombia giving birth, I hope and pray you think of the United Nations and their liberal anti-family, anti-Christian and anti-American policies.
