Actor Jeff Goldblum shocked the left when he wondered why Ru Paul’s drag queens were supporting Islam since so many Muslim countries routinely abuse, jail, and kill gays.
The liberal Hollywood actor who is a favorite of millions because of his offbeat persona and the eclectic roles he often takes shocked the contestants on the VH1 reality show, Ru Paul’s Drag Race, when he questioned a participant about Islam.
During last Friday’s episode where Goldblum was acting as a guest judge, contestant Darius Rose wore a U.S.-inspired red, white, and blue drag getup that also included an Islamic veil.
Goldblum was confused by the costume. The Thor actor asked Rose, “Are you religious, may I ask?”
Rose said no, but tried to explain, “To be honest, this outfit really represents the importance that visibility for people of religious minorities need to have in this country.”
But Goldblum was still confused.
“Isn’t this an interesting wrinkle though? Is there something in that religion that is anti-homosexuality and anti-woman? Does that complicate the issue?” he asked.
Clearly Goldblum just can’t figure out why someone from the LGBTQ community could also blindly support Islam when so many millions of gays are seriously oppressed in Muslim countries.”RuPaul then jumped in to try and square the circle.
“I think drag has always shaken the tree, so to speak. And there are so many different layers to this presentation, and if it was ever going to be done, this is the stage to do it,” RuPaul tried to say.
Jeff Goldblum questioned the anti-woman and anti-homosexual nature of many Muslim-majority countries around the world and has now been cancelled by Twitter's left-wing hate mob. “It’s a complex issue,” Rose added. “I have my own misgivings about the way LGBT people are treated in the Middle East. And at the same time, I am one. What is so important to me that if you just happen to be different, then live that truth.”
So… it’s “complex” when liberal gays want to support Muslims, but it is clear cut and hate-filled when they are talking about Christians?
