An actress was fired from a stage production of the The Color Purple after producers found out that she is a committed Christian who has traditional Christian views.
Up and coming actress Oluwaseyi Omooba, 25, was celebrating in March after winning the starring role of Celie in the show. But the celebration proved short lived.
But the cancel culture struck again when hate-filled actor Aaron Lee Lambert began carefully combing through Omooba social media posts to find something, anything, to destroy the woman with.
Sure enough, this creep found a post where Omooba spoke of her religious convictions.
In a post from 2014, Omooba told Christians to “tell the truth” about homosexuality adding, “It is clearly evident in I Corinthians vi, 9-11 what the Bible says on this matter. I do not believe you can be born gay, and I do not believe homosexual practice is right.”
Omooba also worried that Christians “have begun to twist the word of God.”
Lambert has been attacking Omooba for a while. In March he tweeted her screeching, “Do you still stand by this post? Or are you happy to remain a hypocrite? Seeing as you’ve now been announced to be playing an LGBTQ character, I think you owe your LGBTQ peers an explanation.”
The theater eventually demanded that Omooba apologize for her Christian beliefs, but she refused.
So, because liberals are intolerant, she was fired from the production.
Now, Omooba is threatening to sue the theater.
“They knew that I was a Christian and they knew my stance on marriage, on my faith, on God, on many different things that are in the Bible,” the actress said. “On all my social medias I always post stuff about God, the Bible, or scriptures.”
