After Christians are Murdered in Sri Lanka, ‘Washington Post’ Turns Story Into Attack on ‘Far-Right’

On Easter Day, a group of radical Islamist terrorists launched a murderous rampage in Sri Lanka killing hundreds of Christians as they worshiped the resurrection of Christ. But, to the Washington Post, the story is all about far-right, white nationalists instead of Muslin terrorism.

Barely a day had passed and the Post was stoking “fears” of “far-right anger in the west.”

So… the story isn’t about murderous Muslims… you know, the ones that actually did all the killing… it is about “fears” that the “far-right” will use the attacks for their gain.

This is exactly the backwards thinking we saw in the aftermath of 9/11 here in the U.S. Instead of focusing on the monstrous Muslims who murdered thousands of innocent Americans, the left-wing media was only worried that someone might be mad at Muslims after they murdered thousands.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

As the Washington Examiner reports:

It has not even been 48 hours since the deadly Sri Lanka Easter bombings, which targeted Christians and claimed an estimated 290 lives, and at least one major American newsroom has already found a way to make the attacks about right-wing fearmongering.

“Christianity under attack? Sri Lanka church bombings stoke far-right anger in the West,” reads the headline to a Washington Post article published Monday morning.

This feels like a bizarre and even more tasteless iteration of the press’ beloved “Republicans pounce” trope, where an extremely newsworthy event is used as the backdrop to a larger meta-story about how members of the Right are supposedly exploiting it for political gain.

“Bizarre” and “tasteless” is the least of it.

Anti-Christian, anti-white, and anti-western is more like it.

The ignoramuses at the Post went on wringing hands:

“[T]he attacks, which targeted a religious minority in a predominantly Buddhist country, also resonated abroad — especially in Europe,” Adam Taylor and Rick Noack wrote for the Post.

These two hacks added, “To some, it was further proof that Christians in many parts of the world are under attack.”…. um, YEAH, you dolts, that IS what it proves. Not merely “to some,” but to anyone with a brain.

The leftist media can’t help itself, sadly. Any attack by Muslims is an excuse for the media to attack the victims. The media has no morals.

That is because truth and morality are not liberal values.
