Alabama Unemployment Drops 1.1% as Illegals Leave State

I’ve long advocated that illegal immigrants steal jobs away from American citizens.  Enforcement of federal immigration laws and the deportation of the millions of illegals would open up over 1 million jobs for Americans which would be a huge boost to the countries sagging economy.

Those that support illegal immigration claim that they fill a niche in the work place by taking jobs that Americans won’t take because of the nature of the work.  They claim that many businesses will fail without being able to hire illegals who usually work for less than minimum wage and are often paid cash without any payroll taxes being deducted.

When Alabama first enacted their tough anti-illegal immigration laws, opponents to the laws were quick to point out that a number of businesses and farmers felt an immediate negative impact as thousands of illegals left their jobs and the state.  They said that the illegal workforce had become a vital necessity in the business world.

But the latest figures to come out of Alabama are demonstrating the negative impact of illegal immigration.  In September, Alabama’s unemployment rate was at 9.8%.  In October, the unemployment rate fell to 9.3% and in November, it plummeted below the national average to 8.7%.  That’s a 1.1% drop in the state’s unemployment rate in just two months, and it’s not over yet.

When researched, it was discovered that employers were hiring American citizens to fill many of the jobs vacated by illegals.  Plain and simple, no sugar coating, as the number of illegals decreases the number of US citizens getting jobs increases.

One example is Marshall County, Alabama that has a population of 95,000.  In November, they saw their county unemployment figures drop from 8.1% to 7.4% as over 600 county residents found jobs that were once taken by illegals.

This should be a wake-up call to every person in America, especially those without jobs.  It is estimated that there are between 12-15 million illegal immigrants in the US taking at least 1 million jobs away from American citizens.

Using Alabama as the example, imagine what it would do to the American economy if the illegals were all sent back to their own countries.  Perhaps a million more Americans would find a job, provide for their families, pay taxes (the illegals don’t pay taxes).  It would be a huge boost to the economy that could well lead to a recovery.

But instead of acting on the positive results of tough immigration laws and helping out working class America, the Obama administration is fighting harder than ever to repeal state immigration laws.  They have established a number of programs to support illegal immigration and its negative impact on our economy.  Rather than run with the proven positive, Obama continues to push for the negative.  If he really cared about America and creating jobs and spurring the economy, he would take Alabama’s example and impose it nationwide.

I truly believe the real reason Obama continues to push those programs that are proven to have a negative impact is because it’s all part of his plan to create a total financial meltdown in this country.  A financial collapse is sure to create massive social unrest and Obama would have no recourse but to declare martial law.  Once he does that, he establishes himself as dictator and disbands Congress and elections.

This is why it is so important to stop him as soon as possible.
