Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Claims that Her ‘Constituents’ are Illegal Aliens

Recently elected New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has now decided that her “constituents” are illegal aliens.

… you know… despite that they aren’t citizens… and can’t vote… and don’t have legal rights as Americans do, and… and everything.

This little nugget of idiocy comes from her time to ask Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross a question on Thursday at a House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing.

Oddly, Ocasio-Cortez led with by quoting Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, a Republican who recently lost his bid to become Kansas governor.

“Mr. Kobach later emailed to you on July 14 writing that the lack of the citizenship question ‘leads to the problem that aliens who do not actually reside in the United States are still counted for congressional apportionment services,'” she said during her time at the mic.

Then she added this gem: “Of course they do reside in the United States. They reside in my district. They’re my constituents.”

Uh… no. They are not your “constituents.”

Either that, or she knows exactly what she is doing, and her actions are meant to destroy our country.
