Since America was formed on July 4, 1776 and its new government was established in 1777 under the Articles of Confederation, the American people have never been so ready get rid of all of the federal politicians. Not even during the Civil War or Great Depression has the American people been this fed up with the federal government.
According to a recent Rasmussen Reports survey 55% of likely voters say it would be better for the country if we elected an opposition Congress (Republican controlled) to stop or change Obama’s policies. Fifteen percent said that impeachment would be a better way to stop Obama.
When asked if Obama should be impeached and removed from office, 32%, 1 out of every 3 people, said yes. However, 58% opposed impeaching and removing Obama from office. In fact, 52% said they believed it would be bad for the country if Obama was impeached and removed from office. Furthermore, 56% said it would be bad if Republicans even attempted to impeach Obama.
Black Democrats, including Obama and Eric Holder are constantly claiming that people who oppose Obama’s policies are doing so because they are racists. Yet, when likely voters were asked, 61% said they oppose Obama’s policies because they are bad, and that race has nothing to do with it. Twenty-eight percent said they believe opposition is racially motivated, but didn’t say that they personally held racist opposition to Obama.
To show the racial divide among likely voters, the Rasmussen Reports survey revealed that 70% of black voters said opposition to Obama is racially motivated. On the flip side, 71% of white voters said opposition to Obama’s policies are due to his policies being bad.
I have often written about the need to stop Obama by impeachment and removal from office. The only negative I see in impeachment and removal is that it would make Joe Biden president. Biden is a pathological liar just like Obama. He proved that during the 2012 campaign.
The rest of the world has little to no respect for Obama and they think Biden is a bumbling clown. In Obama’s kingdom, Biden seems more like the court jester than the heir apparent.
With that in mind, would we really be better off with a lying clown as president or a staunch socialist with the intent on destroying the America we knew?
Our best hope is that Republicans win control of the Senate in November and that with control of both branches of Congress would be able to effectively incapacitate Obama’s political aspirations.
