According to a recent Pew Institute report, in 2007 there were a record 4,316,233 births in the United States. In 2012, the number of births was 4,007,000, the lowest number since 1998.
“Analysts say that the birthrate is dictated by the economy.” In the circles I frequent, young families are having lots of babies. I went to one of my favorite pizza restaurants this past week. There were babies everywhere. There were babies by the dozens. I am not exaggerating.
Our fifth grandchild was born in late June. We’re expecting our sixth sometime early in 2014.
My business partner has seven children under the age of 17. Two families in our church have ten children.
Birth announcements are made almost weekly in the church bulletin.
Christians aren’t killing off their children by abortion.
Liberals protect the killing of preborn babies with misguided religious fervor. The Texas abortion debate is a case in point:
“Jon Oliver, a spokesman for Senator Donna Campbell, MD, (R-New Braunfels) reported the senator received threatening messages and emails from pro-abortion activists, ‘I hope you’re raped’ and ‘I hope your daughter is raped!’
“Other pro-life lawmakers also faced threats. Representative Jonathan Stickland (R-Bedford) received a tweet from a female protester saying she couldn’t wait to see the lawmaker so she could ‘pummel his face in.’ He and a few other pro-life representatives stood on the Senate floor during the filibuster and were captive there until 1:30 a.m. because of the unpredictable crowd that occupied the Capitol outside the Senate chamber.”
Pro-abortionists hailing Satan is another good indication of the topsy-turvy religious dedication that some abortionists have to the destructive practice. Bob Dylan said it well:
You may be an ambassador to England or France
You may like to gamble, you might like to dance
You may be the heavyweight champion of the world
You may be a socialite with a long string of pearls.
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody, . . .
It may be the devil or it may be the Lord
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody.
So while the liberal world is killing off their future, and homosexuality has become the norm, it might not be too long before they self-exterminate.
Now if these parents would keep their children out of the government education system, we could see a long-term national turnaround.
Some liberals understand the long-term political effect of abortion:
“[F]or the past 30 years or so, conservatives — particularly those of the right-wing red-state Christian strain — have been out-breeding liberals by a margin of at least 20 percent, if not far more. . . . Translation: Libs just aren’t procreating like they could/should be.”1
It’s not surprising that Democrats are pushing for more immigrants. They need to recruit more liberals because they’ve killed off so many of them through self-decimation.
