Leftist students at Syracuse University have been wrecking havoc after a “hate crime” was reported on campus. But, as is usually the case with these supposed crimes, it now looks like the original report was a hoax.
Activist students claimed that a “white supremacist manifesto” had been circulated on campus causing minority students to “feel unsafe.”
But school authorities now say that this purported “manifesto” is nothing but a hoax.
The leftist students claimed that their fellows were “targeted” by the supposed “white supremacists,” but the university now says that they can’t find a single student who came into possession of this “manifesto.”
Chancellor of Syracuse University Kent Syverud called police over the “manifesto,” but after an investigation, law enforcement could not find a single student who had the manifesto sent to them either in physical form or via email or any other electronic means, according to ABC News.
These same students have reported racist graffiti and racial slurs being cast at minority students, but thus far there has not been a shred of evidence to substantiate the claims.Meanwhile, radical leftist students have been using the fake hate crime to make absurd demands on the university such as demanding the right to force white students out of the school at will.
Students have also launched sit-ins that are supposed to be prohibited by the school, but university officials have refused to remove of punish the students.
The student radicals are also refusing to meet with school officials and have instead insisted that their every last, hairbrained, anti-American demand be met or else.
This is when the school should be canceling scholarships and kicking students out of school. Not coddling them.
