Yet another hate crime has been busted as a hoax. This time a New Yorker claimed he was the victim of an anti-gay attack, but now it appears that there was no anti-gay attack and HE was the aggressor.
A man told the New York Police Department that he was attacked by two gay-bashers on the uptown A train, according to the New York Post.
He said they were all arguing on the train and soon they started taunting him with gay slurs.
The supposed victim also said that by the time the train got to the Chambers St. station, the two gay-bashers jumped him and beat him up.
He was a victim, dontcha know?
So, the NYPD began investigating. Not only did they get the surveillance video of the incident, but they were also able to speak to several eye-witnesses who saw the altercation between the “victim” and the two “gay bashers.”
It wasn’t long before the NYPD had a VERY different account of the event.
Police now say that the surveillance video did not seem to show the two men acting like the aggressors.
But, even more damning, witness said that it was the supposed victim who was the one acting out.
They say the “victim” was spitting and yelling at subway riders and the two men stepped in to tell the “victim” to cut it out.
Eyewitnesses also say that they thought the so-called “victim” was drunk.
On top of all that, the only actual injuries he received is when he was being subdued from his wild behavior. And it was just a little scrape to his forehead.
So once again we see another fake hate crime report busted as the hoax most of these always are.
Sadly, the NYPD is not charging this liar for filing a false police report like they should be.
