Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired as White House Press Secretary after only 11 days on the job, is now plotting with wild-eyed anti-Trumper and failed magazine publisher Bill Kristol to take down Trump in 2020.
According to Breitbart News and CNBC, Kristol confirmed that the suddenly anti-Trump Scaramucci reached out to him and wanted to start working together to destroy Trump.
Kristol is an wild-eyed anti-Trumper who lost his magazine, the Weekly Standard, because he could not get enough customers to buy his rag.
As Breitbart noted:
In a series of terse text messages with CNBC, Kristol, confirmed his discussions with the hedge fund manager, writing a simple “Yup” when asked by reporter Brian Schwartz about the plot.
“Have chatted with him, but working with him would be an exaggeration,” Kristol added, before shying away from offering up additional details about his master plan. If the founder of the now-defunct Weekly Standard were to actually go through with plans to block Trump from being the Republican nominee, it would not be the first time. In the summing leading up to the election, Kristol tried to recruit National Review‘s David French to challenge President Trump, though he ultimately conceded he was not rich or “transformational” enough to win.
It is pretty clear that Scaramucci is desperate to stay in the media and to do that he has suddenly gone from Trump supporter to Trump hater with his turn-on-a-dime attacks over the last few days.
Scaramucci has nothing at all to offer, really. He is just a loudmouth trying to make a buck and stay relevant when, in fact, he never was relevant in the first place.
One of his predecessors, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, waved off Scaramucci and essentially deemed him a joke.
Last week, Spicer dismissed Scaramucci as a meaningless flea on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom,” Daily Caller reported.
Spicer said that the hapless and helpless Scaramucci is a dupe who doesn’t even know that he is just being used to “create controversy” by the sold out, left-wing media eager to destroy Trump.
“I think what’s going on is Anthony obviously wants to express his view out there. I think it’s unfortunate that he is doing this because if he really was a friend of the president, he would confide to him in confidence what his opinions and concerns were and give him sage advice to help him be successful,” Spicer said slamming Scaramucci. “It’s catnip for the left-wing media to go out and use somebody like him to create a controversy.”
One of the reasons that Scaramucci only lasted 11 days as Press Sec is because he is a huge jerk to his underlings. Spicer noted that, too.
“I do know that it was a very rocky tenure. Obviously, it was after I had announced that I was leaving the White House, I do know that there was some concern about his management style, if you will,” Spicer said.
Spicer then slammed Scaramucci as a nobody and he will soon find the media uninterested in his blather.
“They are going to use him for their sound bite, to go against of the media, to go against the president now, and then they will forget him in a week. That’s that,” Spicer explained.
